Questions & Answers
I buy dried goods in bulk, but cans can be purchased separately.
Vet approval must be based on medical necessity. Is it possible that this food could be harmful if it is mishandled? My veterinarian advised me to look for it on Amazon because it was less expensive, but he didn't mention whether or not I needed a prescription.
I'm not sure, but my dog wouldn't go near it.
It is possible to revolve with dry food.

To keep her painful pancreatic bouts under control, she needs to eat a high-fat, low-protein diet that is soft enough for her to eat when mixed with a little warm water. I cook for her, but I prefer to keep it simple. When I run out of homemade food or am traveling, I like to keep a fat option on hand. This is one of two wet foods that her veterinarian has given me in the past after I've had acute pancreatitis. br>br>I was pleased to see that it was available on Amazon and did not require a prescription. The order arrived in a timely manner, with a few dented cans, but otherwise the order was as expected, with expiration dates for the food in the middle of the year. br>br>This food contains prebiotics and fiber, which help dogs with gastrointestinal problems caused by a high fat diet digest the food more easily. It's also high in antioxidants and very easy to digest. br>br>The meal consists of a loaf of bread. It's a dry type with a low liquid content, but it's easy to chop and combine with other dry foods. If desired, the fat broth can be added to other dishes. My dog doesn't care for the flavor, but it's one of the more affordable options. It's her favorite of the fat options available, and I believe it's similar to people- We enjoy fatty foods because they are tasty, even if they aren't the healthiest. br>br>If your dog is experiencing gastrointestinal problems (diarrhea or vomiting), make an appointment with your dog's veterinarian to determine the source of the problem. If a low-cost option is required, This food should be considered if you're on a low-fat diet.

My veterinarian recommended it. I have a picky dog who needs to take a lot of medication twice a day with food or her stomach will hurt, and she refuses to eat 90% of the things I try. EVERYTHING is possible! For her meals, I finally began preparing chicken and rice. But she wasn't getting enough nutrition at the time. ARGH! But she eats this stuff like it's fillet mignon, and she's also eating a much more balanced diet now. I am ecstatic. Thank you very much!.
It's a high-quality dog food that my dog enjoys because it's exactly what she requires for her digestive issues. It's pricey, but it works; my only wish is that it was available in smaller cans.
Purina Pro dog food has been a huge help to my sensitive dog. He enjoys the flavor, and his GI tract is happy with it. Thank you! Every time I order from VetInternetCo, I get a quick response.
These are good for my dog, according to the veterinarian. It's pricey, and you'll need a veterinarian's prescription to purchase it. br>br>This is my dog's favorite food, and he never leaves a crumb. I wish it were a little less expensive, but I'd do anything for my fur baby.
One of the cans was dented, but when we opened it, it appeared to be in good condition on the inside.
This does not appear to be the same Brand En as the one I get from the veterinarian. Although it claims to be low fat, it appears to be half fat. Will return to my veterinarian because the dog food is less expensive and appears to be better.
OUR DOG APPEARS TO BE IN BETTER CONDITION NOW.
