We were concerned when we brought our first puppy home because his stools were runny and very soft. We weren't sure what the problem was, but someone asked if we were feeding him the pet store's recommended food, which we were. The same person suggested we change the dog's food, and after researching several brands online, we discovered Wysong on a list of dog foods that had their ingredients tested for accuracy. I also came across some online websites that were critical of the company, but the company appears to always stand behind its product with its own research, which I admire. So I got my first bag, and the dogs' stool samples began to improve almost immediately. That was three months ago, and since then, I've been purchasing Wysong directly from their website.
For growing puppies, the best growth formula contains a lot of protein. I've also noticed that my dog's waste has decreased because there's a lot more in this formula that he can digest and use! This is a better option than high-fiber dog food. No low- This food contains only the highest-quality grains!.
My German Shepherd, who is five months old, eats his food before I can even put on my shoes. He doesn't care for it after the first bowl. He only gives me a sidelong glance. I have to combine it with other ingredients, and he still takes a long time to eat it. When I put his lunch down for him today, he just drank his water and sat next to his food bowl, staring at me.
I decided to give this dry puppy diet a try because it came highly recommended on Pet Food Advisor and Wysong is one of Dr. Fox's recommended pet food companies. Our puppies have been oblivious to it so far. I'm adamant about sticking it out and hoping they'll get used to it. I'm just baffled as to why animals, like humans, prefer junk food.
We had 5 dogs at the time and fed this food to them for two weeks. On the advice of our holistic veterinarian, I've been doing this for three years. Our 14-year-old Schnauzer mix has been urinating a lot lately, and I've noticed it. She aced her senior exam and bloodworm, but I was starting to be concerned about her health. She couldn't sleep without drinking water or having to urinate three times during the night. 4 times. We began placing pee pads on the floor so that we wouldn't have to let her out 2- Every night, four times. She would have an accident in her crate if we crated her, which is completely out of character for her. If we let her sleep in our room, either on the bed or on the floor, she would wake up and urinate on the floor or on our bed if we didn't get her out or to her pee pads quickly enough. I was about to take her back to the veterinarian for an incontinence evaluation. I had the food on Subscribe and Save, but I miscalculated how much we needed and ran out. After checking five local stores and finding food that was either expired or sold out, I asked the last store in frustration what other high-quality food they sold that was similar and unlikely to cause stomach upset. I switched our two oldest dogs to the new food, and the urination and drinking problems disappeared completely within two days. We've reintroduced the pee pads, and she's sleeping through the night without needing to get up for a drink or to go potty once more. It's been a week now, and I can't believe how much better our housebreaking problems have gotten! God bless you. We got a new puppy, and I was having a hard time housebreaking her because she was eating the puppy food. I told my husband, "I don't recall it being this difficult; I've worked in animal shelters for years, and this was certainly not my first rodeo," but she had to pee so frequently, and with a Toddler, I was having a hard time getting her outside frequently enough (every 30 - 45 minutes). To prevent her from having an accident in the house, I gave her 60 minutes. So I had to crate her more than I wanted because I couldn't keep an eye on her all of the time to get her to pee outside. I switched her food out of curiosity, and the housebreaking is going so much better now that I can't believe it's been a week. I believe the problem went unnoticed for so long because, in a house with five geriatric dogs, all of whom had various health issues, it never occurred to me that the potty issues were caused by the food until three of them had died and we had introduced the new puppy. So, use this food at your own risk, but I can assure you that we will never feed it again.
It's high-quality food that my dog enjoys. Her stomach is sensitive, and this food is suitable for her.
It is a big hit with my dog. br>It would be nice to find a bag that was a little bigger.
