In general, I would avoid spraying insecticide on clothes. Flea-infested clothing should be washed in hot water, and the closet should be sprayed.
I'd squirt it with a lot of water. If possible, leave it to sit for a few hours before vacuuming it. We have 100% hardwood in our yard. I sprayed it and then went about my business. It was an excellent solution. Make sure to give a flea bath at the same time, as you may need to apply two times.
The next day, after thoroughly vacumning, I applied.
It's best to stay away from the treated area until the product has had time to dry.

I used Adam's Flea and Tick spray, which helped a little bit. I couldn't seem to get a grip on these issues, so I figured I'd need something more powerful. This is what I bought in the hopes of it working. It reeked like a sewer! While I was spraying it, it wasn't too bad. It happened after that. We spent the entire day outside because I opened the windows. When I got home, we couldn't use the two bedrooms where I sprayed it for three days and nights. It gave each of us a headache. To get the odor out of the rooms, I had to finally steam clean the carpets. Thankfully, it was helpful, but what a pain! According to the product's description, there are "no lingering odors," and other users have stated that it does not smell. WHAT WAS IN MY CAN, IF THAT WAS THE CASE? And I'm not joking. It elicited a response from more than one of us. It was detectable by all of us. I felt terrible that we had all inhaled the stench and that some family members had to make do with makeshift beds all over the house! Due to the fact that it is a "gas," you are not permitted to return it. I wasn't aware of this prior to purchasing, but it doesn't matter. No one should use this in their home, in my opinion. Ps. Prior to steam cleaning, I vacuumed the area and discovered no dead fleas. So, after all of that, I'd like to ask you a question. nothing!.

I didn't care for how foamy it was; I expected more of a spray. I'm not sure I'd use it on my children's carpet or curtains. I'm not sure how good it is because I have no idea if or where fleas are in my house. Apart from the ones on my cat, I have no evidence of any dead or alive creatures. I really like their cat spray for the fur, and I'm sure this stuff will work just as well.
