There were a few different kinds of bottles we tried for our Guinea Pigs, and all of them leaked I don't think this is it. As well as the click system, its advantages are many. Also, to my surprise, it turns out that the thread of the bottle matches any Coke, Sprite, or Seven Up bottle, so I am using a 16oz bottle instead of a small 11oz one. I almost killed my bunny because of this horrible product. Initially we were very attentive to this bottle, but after the first week it worked fine, so we stopped being so attentive. Our bunny started not eating as much the second week, so we noticed the water in the bottle was not really going down most of the time. Five days later, I touched the ball on the nozzle and realized it had become It has been five days since our bunny has drunk water. There was actually evaporation of the water when it went down. Clearly, this is a defective product, and the nozzle's walls need to be thicker so the ball doesn't get squeezed and get stuck inside.

We were all driving each other crazy because they kept running out of water! The reviews about this intrigued me, so I decided to give it a shot. I have only been using the water bottle for a few days, but the hay under it is still dry, and it does not leak. It's awesome that this water bottle works so well. I can honestly say that it never leaks. I found the bottle to be easy for my rabbits to drink from and they don't seem to have any problems accessing it like some of the other 'no leak' bottles do. I am very happy with this purchase!.

The cracks are pretty tough, however, and will hold up until chewed apart. I have to say that those are really leak proof. Since we have 2 chinchillas and they require a lot of chewing, I was very relieved when I discovered how well it worked I tried my best to keep their habitat low but it was a nightmare As a result of incessant leakage from their water bottles, the air was damp. Despite its good intentions, this water bottle has a major design flaw. A portion of the plastic extends towards the metal drip part, thus giving the drip ample room, and it has a visible logo on it This gives you the chance to chew. Having chewed a hole into the plastic right above the metal drip spout and hole, our chins successfully chewed through the plastic within a few weeks A large amount of water was leaking out of The current design of this water is not worth the money, so I had to seal it up as best as I could. Three weeks is too short a time for these to last. This is so disappointing to me. Until your small animal successfully chews a hole into them, you can rely on these to be leak-proof. That is the only reason I gave them 3 stars.

My kids and I have bought four bottles of these water and they are absolutely amazing! Against the wall or in a cage, they are so easily mounted! What's even better is that they can be clipped in and out with ease! The water can be replaced and cleaned very easily. It is no longer necessary to fiddle with metal clips and springs! I buy these bottles for my rabbits because they love them. they are less dense than other brands, they affix cleanly to our rabbits' cages, keep up neatly, and do not leak. There is no question they are easy to remove and refill, but the square base one is far superior to one with a round neck or base (also In addition, the square shape ensures that it clicks in place when it is removed from the holder, so it is not easily pushed off by a thirsty rabbit. This may be true of a round base one, but if it is not twisted twice until it clicks, it can easily fall off at first sip without a tiny twist each time. There is one round neck green bottle and one square neck red bottle. I seem to be the only one who can properly handle the green round neck bottle.
