It's unlikely, in my opinion. Mine is locked, but the square lid section pops open when you bump it. I placed two orders, and both of them were successful. If it's a container that will be left outside and needs to be completely airtight, I'd go with something else.
Depending on the manufacturer - The 8-quart container should be able to hold up to eight quarts of liquid. Cat food in the amount of 10 lbs. br>When I go shopping, one of my favorite things to do is compare bag sizes. A 7. The 5 pound bag fits perfectly with plenty of room to spare. I hope this has been of assistance. Good luck with your feeding.
The products do not differ in any way. It's the same thing.

It was HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIBLY HORRIBLE Please, if you care about your pets, wash this sucker before putting your pet's food in it. I'm just worried that if it's not washed first, the ODOR will end up in the pet's food. And, God forbid, your pet may no longer want to eat that food. They might fall ill as a result.
After only one day of use, the handle broke off.
This is an excellent bird seed product. We bought three, so it can hold the typical large bag of premium seed with lots of large pieces/fruit/nuts; spilling is no longer an issue, and we use a small squirrel buster feeder with a 4" opening. They're big enough that you don't have to refill them all the time, and I'm pleased with my purchase.
My original three-point plan has been revised. star ratingbr>br>After about a month of use, I'm very unhappy with the lid's design. The pour spout gets in the way when you're almost done filling the container (I previously described this as the "wings" getting in the way). That spout, like the flip-flop, isn't working. lid is up, everything is safe. I'm not expecting Fort Knox, but I believe that if you lay the container on its side or hold it by the handle, they should stay in place and prevent spillage. That isn't the case at all. br>br>At the moment, I'm utilizing- It can be used as a salt/deicer dispenser. At the very least, I won't have to clean up after myself if I spill something. br>br>I got a bunch of breakfast cereal containers for less money than this one, and I'm much happier with them.
This was given to my husband as a gift because he enjoys birds. He used to leave large bags of bird seed in our dining room near the sliding glass door to our deck. On "feeding day," I would always have leftover bird seed on my counter. I've learned to pick and choose my battles after 40 years of marriage. lol. He not only enjoys it, but it also helps to keep our small house clean. Now it's time to tackle the remainder of the house!.
Because the Department of Agriculture requires that all food be covered by a lid, this food container worked well in terms of storing the food. Attempting to pour food through the opening at the top of the lid, on the other hand, resulted in the lid popping off and food spilling all over the place. I bought three, and none of them had a lid that could be tightened enough to keep this from happening. br>br>I recommend this method of food storage if you need to transport multiple brands or types of food, such as in an animal shelter or for a rescue mission. It can also be used to identify food with a permanent marker. I had three containers at the shelter: one for kitten food, another for adult cat food, and a third for gastrointestinal diet for cats with sensitive stomachs. Depending on your needs, it will work well for some people and not so well for others. br>br>To put it another way. It's not really a pet food dispenser. This is a food storage container that holds 8 quarts.
Until I found this dispenser, I was keeping my bag of sunflower seeds in a large plastic bin with a separate lid, bringing the bin bird feeder onto the porch, unrolling the seed bag, scooping out the seed with a measuring cup, re-rolling the seed bag, re-rolling the seed bag, re-rolling the seed bag, re-rolling the seed bag, re-rolling the seed bag, re-rolling the seed bag, re-roll Every day, just to fill the bird feeder, I roll the seed bag, place it in the large bin, and replace the lid. (It's impossible for me to leave the feeder out overnight without attracting raccoons, who in turn attract coyotes. ) )br>br>This feeder allows me to store all of my bird seed in one place, and the spout is perfect for pouring just the right amount every time. It's a "first-world problem" to have to do multiple steps for something as simple as feeding the birds, but it's so much easier and less stressful when I can just carry the feeder and this bin onto the porch every morning, open the spout, pour the seed, close the spout, and be This is well worth the money at such a low price!.
It holds a little more than 6 pounds of cat food (probably 8 pounds or 9 pounds). If you're looking for a security lid, the spot on the back of the lid is ideal for putting the serving size chart, and if you're looking for a security lid, this is fairly easy to open (thankfully, my cat doesn't try to open it).
