Yesterday night, the youngest (2 year old) was playing with legs) on her legs. I don't know how he could eat food in 20 seconds because it would be gone in an instant. This was the first time I fed him from this bowl and it took him a couple of minutes to finish it. Currently, this is being used with a 15 WK old lab that just inhales food and water. I have tried alternatives and nothing has worked as well as this product. I recommend it highly. This is a product I highly recommend. We have a pit bull mix which we adopted from our local humane society. Her current diet consists of 2 cups of science diet adult large breed lamb twice a day. There could be a problem with fitting kibble that is a certain size into some of the "prettier" designs because of its size and shape. As well, our objective was not to frustrate her by showing her how to swallow the kibble, but to slow down her consumption. A calmer and more controlled feed process of 4 minutes was achieved, from less than 30 seconds (give it a rest, less than 30 seconds for 2 cups). This product meets its advertised specifications. This is a great product I would recommend.

As my basset hound is a true gulper, this has more than tripled the amount of time it takes He is frustrated by it and the first day just wanted to bark at the bowl, but he has to slow down because of that, so it's good.
