At the age of two weeks, he was abandoned by his mother. We had a major problem with him because he was inconsistent with his litter box usage. and-miss. As a result, when we got home from work, we had to clean the bathroom floor. My wife reasoned that by confining him to a smaller space, he would be more likely to learn to use the litter box on a regular basis. I'm relieved to report that I was mistaken and she was correct. The enclosure is big enough for him to run around and play in, but small enough for him to stay close to his litter box and food dish. This enclosure is well-built and made of high-quality canvas and mesh material, which we believe has greatly aided in getting him to use the litter box all of the time. And, as an added bonus that we hadn't considered, it's been helpful in introducing him to our four-year-old tabby cat in a gradual and safe manner. We are extremely pleased with this enclosure and would highly recommend it to anyone who has pets that they want to keep corralled while still having the freedom to run around and play. This is an excellent item.

It's incredibly simple to put together! Just open it up! LOL. However, this is adorable, and I adore the color. EDIT: br>br> It was simple to put together and looked great. However, my bunny bit a hole in the playpen door, which caught his head, and he died as a result of hanging from the hole in the door while attempting to escape. I don't want to pick on a company, but perhaps a warning should be included. I believe the material is potentially hazardous to pets because they can bite into it and become trapped in the hole they bite into, resulting in death. I realize that posting this won't bring my bunny back, but I hope that it will be useful to other bunny owners who are considering purchasing this play pen.

I really like how easily it folds up. To begin, I understand that this item was designed for pets, but I purchased it for my 7-month-old baby in preparation for our spring camping trip. The amount of space and excellent quality of this playpen astounded me. I love how easily it folds up and can be taken with me wherever I go! Definitely a 5-star rating.

I was enthralled by the product. I'm glad I came across it. We were about to get a kitten. The introduction of the ten-year-old was necessary. cat & the baby. Until we opened the box, my plan was perfect! I put it out on the patio right away, hoping it would dry out. We put it in the most intense spot because people said it was sunshine. After a few days, there hasn't been even a smidgeon of change. As a large human, I didn't believe it was possible. I can't take it any longer; I'm getting a terrible headache. Consider what a tiny kitten would go through. I gave it back to you. I switched to a different brand, and it's fantastic! The staff at Amazon went above and beyond to help me. beyond to assist in the decision-making process br>br>I would not advise anyone to do this. Look past this brand; there's another one that looks similar but doesn't stink. best of luck In addition, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. We put a litter box in one of the doors and attached a regular crate to it so it's always open. It's known as his studio apartment with one bathroom. It appeals to him. Because cats are curious but easily overwhelmed, this was an excellent tool for establishing a safe homebase for her. I put her food, a litter box, and a few toys in it, then gradually introduced her to other rooms in the house for her to explore. She would go out and explore, but then return to her little playpen home and stay there for a minute as a "safety zone," before returning to go out and explore some more. I travel as well, so I bring this with me because it's easy to fold and provides a familiar and comforting place of recognition that's her home, even when we're in a hotel room. She scratches the mesh, but it does not rip, indicating that it is of good quality. The windows and octagon shape provide enough space for a cat to feel like they are outside. It's a great place to put her if I need to contain her for a while, and she enjoys going in it because it's become a familiar, safe, and stable homebase for her.

One of my three cats is a large male who adores people but has a habit of scratching them when he becomes bored with their attention. I bought this playpen for him so that he can be around people without getting hurt. However, it has proven to be extremely useful for a variety of other purposes. We also use it as a sort of "time out" (which sounds a lot nicer than "cat jail") if one of the cats is being particularly obnoxious (usually our male cat, who, in addition to scratching visitors, will purposely knock things off counters, bookcases, and fireplace mantles if he is not getting enough attention), if I need to do something without the cats (usually paperwork, which is their favorite place to sit on top of), or if a In these situations, the cats would much rather be in their small playpen than be trapped in the basement. br>br>Perhaps I shouldn't have said "little" in the first place - This thing is enormous (I guess I couldn't see the dimensions when I placed my order - I could have gotten away with the next smaller size if I had wanted to - It does take up most of the available floor space in our family room. Inside, there's plenty of room for three adult cats to hang out. It's large enough for an adult to crawl inside and curl up (not that I'd try it)(recently. )br>br>It was very simple to put together, though the top zipper on mine gets tangled in one spot where the seam has to extend out a little too far. But I can wiggle it past there with ease, and the zippers on the doors work well and quickly, allowing me to imprison my darling kitties before they even consider trying to flee. On the subject of zippers: br>br> One of the reasons I chose this playpen is that it has a zippered bottom (rather than velcro). ed or hand-sewn on ) I know for a fact that if the bottom was simply attached by velcro, my little darlings would easily escape an enclosure, but I wanted the option to unzip the bottom for cleaning when the inevitable hairball was deposited on it. br>br>I'm afraid I'm not qualified to comment on the folding. I threw in some old towels that always seem to smell musty, and it quickly became their favorite napping spot (is it just my cats, or do all cats enjoy those stinky-smelling towels?). Do you have any ish towels? )br>br>Overall, the structure's sturdiness has left me very impressed. The mesh has been plasticized (or has undergone a similar process) and is extremely tough. The mesh door was not stretched, torn, or snagged by our big ole male hooking his claws into it and pulling/pushing it with his considerable body weight. The metal structure is also sturdy and not at all flimsy. The canvas-like fabric is thick and heavy. This ToysOpoly Pet Playpen certainly does. br>br>It's rare that a product not only meets but exceeds your expectations, but this ToysOpoly Pet Playpen does.
