We put this collar on our dog the same day it ripped. This was brought eagerly as it was stated to be made of thick, sturdy material. The reviews were misleading. Apparently my dogs played with it and it came apart, so it looks like it is no longer usable. I bought two, one for my smaller dog and that one is still useful, but the ring that holds the collar in place has ripped and is hanging, so for my dogs safety, I will probably take it off so he doesn't accidentally choke. We're very disappointed in this product. We really wanted to like it, and they look really nice but if they're not going to perform the task they're meant to do, what's the point. The loss of 34$ over night cannot be overstated. I have updated After receiving email messages from them regarding their product, I messaged the company. I told them how quickly it would destroy, but haven't heard back. It's been almost a week since I contacted them. It is impossible to communicate well.

We have a pet who has undergone professional training and they had used a chain collar on him correctly, and he had grown accustomed to it the way it sounds. Unlike the free Herm Sprenger his previous owner sent us home with, most chains we saw in stores were plated instead of stainless steel, so they were not as good as the chain we got from a store. Having a big dog like him, and having a small neck, we didn't want to order a chain collar online and find out it wouldn't In the end, we were not able to use the nylon collar. The nylon collars did nothing for our dog since he was used to the sound of the regular chain collar and the light weight made it seem as if he didn't have anything on his body, which made him inobtrusive and didn't listen Since we had pretty much given up looking for a chain collar, we came across martingales, but most of them were made out of thin nylon. This is the only one we saw that we liked the look of, especially because it was made from a mixture The adjustable design was the main selling point for me, because our dog has a big head compared to his small neck, so a martingale that is slipped over was going to make no sense to him. The belt works very well, though there is no D ring for putting ID tags, since the leather is thick enough I just tuck in our collar tags in the band that is used to tuck it in. This was by far the best purchase we ever.

There is something about this leather that I love. You don't need to oil it because it's butter soft right out of the package. A tough part is that I would prefer a chain that was a little thinner. My dog is 12 pounds and I know for sure that the chain will never break even if she has such a large dog. There are a few holes I have to punch in it as well. Therefore, I wish there were another size But other than that, this collar is great!.

My dog needs to be able to be restrained if he sees a cat, so you better have a strong collar. This collar is excellent. I'm very pleased with it. Even after chasing sticks in the lake for days, there was no rust on the blades.

Brown leather is soft, but durable, and the collar itself is made from chocolate brown leather. Greta's brown spots match so well with the color! Additionally, the martingale chain is very heavy duty and has increased enjoyment of our walks. We had trouble stopping her pulling with our other nylon martingale, as well. An ideal medium between traditional collars and other collars for training, this chain is the best choice. In the beginning, 1. made me super happy. In the end, they were unable to escape them & A good quality product seemed to be offered. Nevertheless, after using them on daily walks for the last month, I have found they do not really make much of a difference in pulling, the feel, or even how they look. In my experience, the sound of the chain did not deter my dogs any more than a regular martingale collar would. Since they're marketed as helping with this, I get that a collar won't magically train your dog to stop pulling, but it's worth mentioning as they're advertised to do so. Still, it isn't that big of a One of the biggest problems I had with them was that they left indentations around my dogs' Although the pictures cannot convey the feeling well, the hair of the little girl is pressed into a perfect circle where the collar sits, has a gray tint to it, and feels extremely dry & fragile Has the smell of plastic or something similar (cheap leather, maybe). Moreover, they don't wear their collars inside the house, so this indicates that they are not comfortable with the fact that they have such noticeable marks without being worn constantly. His temperament did not seem to be affected by this and he was able to walk and train with no problems. If you're trying to make your way to a choke chain, this would be a great collar. A good chain and very durable leather go together to make a very solid product. My mom and aunt both complimented me on how good it looked. You can be sure that it won't fall off or slip off your dog if you have a good grip on it.
