Product Description

A COLLAR SOLD FOR EVERY ONE WE SELL WILL GO TO A DOG RESCUE For every collar sold, we donate a collar to an animal shelter. There is a constant need for dog supplies among dog rescues. Every purchase will result in a donation of one for one. If you purchase one of our dog collars, you will not only receive a premium collar, but you will also donate one to a rescue organization. We can supply a constant supply of collars to dog rescues, so together we can support them.
Each month our organization donates to a different dog rescue organization in the US. Counting the number of leashes and collars sold at the end of each month is part of our daily routine. We determine how many rescues we can donate to for that month based on this number. Usually, we donate one at a time until each rescue has received a donation, then we go back up the list. In special cases, we will make an out of turn donation based on the immediate need of a rescue.

Questions & Answers

Do we have 2 copies of the material Is it a two-ply or a one-ply fabric? What is better, a soft or a stiff handle?

There is a 2mm thickness to it. It's not clear whether that is a 2 or not It doesn't matter whether you're going to ply. This is a very sturdy design. I use it for my own 125 pound akita as well as for our rescued akitas

How many inches does the buckle measure? We have two dogs and our current collar measures 17 inches long including the buckle. We are not sure ?

When you say "including the buckle," you're likely not adding the length of the prongs, as they go straight into the buckle on the opposite side. This would not make any sense in terms of Would it be more effective just to specify whether the measurement should be the circumference of the dog's collar (allowing for 2 fingers to fit within), or whether it should simply be the length of the strap around It is standard for my dog's collar to be 17 inches long. The strap around her neck - This is the 16 inches is the length of the neck. Based on the measurements I took, her collar would measure a little over 18 inches including the prongs.

An 17" - 25" pit measures in the middle of my pit If I order from other companies xl, does your large go to that size? If not, which other companies do you carry in this size?

It should be fine for your pit if you use the medium size.

Is it better to get a male or female 10 month old cockapoo with 30lbs full grown weight, 15" neck size Med or Med large?

The dog I have weighs 55 lbs and wears a medium, so I would guess that a 30 lbs dog could use a medium as well.

That collar is awesome! You can find an update below
3/5

The collar I bought for our chocolate lab came from this store. Exactly what I was looking for! I can't believe we just did this. We let our dog go on her very first foray down the street.
We found her with her tags returning from our neighbors. It snapped off as soon as they tried reading the tag to find out where she should be returned. I had originally given it a 5 star rating, but it's been downgraded to a 3 star rating. It is where the pink paw print is on the collar that has the ring attached. To this end, I will be using my contact details to contact the company.

It's a nice collar with neat features, but it's not perfect
4/5

I bought this collar ten days ago for my Pointer puppy who's close to 6 months old now. A good sign With a martingale collar, I like that it prevents slipping out while walking and provides control, but it's also nice to have a buckle so I can easily and safely remove it if necessary. The buckle had a great locking feature that I really liked. As a volunteer for a rescue, I went to this company since they donate items to rescues. They donated to the rescue that I volunteer for, so I went to them for this item. There's a chance it could be better (why it's not a 5 star) This orange color is very pale in comparison to the orange I purchased. If it were a traditional orange, it would be perfect. One might mistake it for a salmon or pink color. The collar has only been on my dog for a few days, and it already This collar cannot actually be dirty as he's a clean puppy and the snow has covered him the entire time, so there is no way he would see dirt. Upon inspection, it appears that the plating on the metal pieces is wearing off and making the collar dark in This will be washed and I will try to get rid of it. Perhaps if it were a darker color you wouldn't notice it so Additionally, I took it off of him to take pictures so that I could show the color problem, and I noticed that As soon as I wash it, I'll trim this off.

Size is too small - The shipping cost for returns is not refundable
3/5

The collar turned out to be a little bit smaller than what I expected, so I returned it for Nevertheless, I must pay $6 for shipping it back to you. Compared to my original purchase price, that's half the cost. Shelters do not receive collars from the company It is our responsibility to pay for the donation. In the past, I have never had to pay shipping to return an item that was too big. As far as the collar itself is concerned, it seems well made perhaps I will be able to test it This company is not one I will buy from.

-Good results for first year
4/5

-See the update for the second year. It's actually been quite impressive so far with this collar. The medium-sized one is what I bought The pink color is large. I have a female chocolate lab who weighs about 65 pounds The length of her neck is 18 inches tight and 19 inches The loop on the top of the bracelet is pulled, and the bracelet will tighten when Reflective stitching adds a lot to the look. Even under the indoor lights, it is highly reflective. I was standing in my mom's kitchen and everyone was commenting on how awesome it is. An interesting feature of the clasp is that it can be unlocked and locked. You can lock or unlock it easily, and it really works. Initially, I was concerned that the loop for the tags would be cheap and might break, but it ended up being much better than I had expected. This collar has a medium thickness in comparison with other collars I have bought that are thicker or thinner. I have now owned this item for exactly 2 years and I have found that the plastic rings for the tags do come off within a year, that the color has faded drastically, that the reflective stitching doesn't work anymore, and that the metal pieces start to wear silver and look In the house, my lab is mostly an inside dog, but it's outside about 60% of the time. I do not know if I would be able to do this on a nice day even if there was plenty of water nearby. Functionality of collar is still great and still The rating decreased by one star from 5 to 4.

It's not the right size, but I really enjoy the collar! It's a real pleasure to wear these collars! A mistake has been made in the sizing provided
3/5

After purchasing a collar for our dog, I decided to purchase another one since the first was just slightly too big. It is stated that "medium" measurement is a 17" collar, yet that is the size it only goes down to. Despite the collar being 8" tall and my dog having a 17" neck, the collar usually comes off when she scratches Despite the small advertisement, the product opens up to a lot more space than it appears to be, so when we ordered the small, it works great and plenty of room is left for expansion.

The design is beautiful and of good quality
3/5

The only thing that would make this possible is if it was Kelly green, as everything I own for my dog is. . . I love it! The stitching on the bag is excellent, and I like the feature of locking the buckle to ensure it does not come off by accident. Beautiful metal hooks are used on the hooks. The collar I bought was inspired by one I saw on the dog of a neighbor. As it is new, the collar is a little stiff, but I am confident that with time it will soften. I also wash my dog's collars in the washer with bleach about every two weeks, which should take care of the "new collar stiffness. ". The following is an update for 10/08/18 My dog has worn a collar like this on and off for a bit over a week The buckle lock was the only reason for my purchase, but the lock did not stay in place, so I have a standard martingale collar now. A problem with this hindered my ability to get 2 starts.

The collar has a cheap latch on it
3/5

A dog of mine almost died. Although the product appeared sturdy, the latch is weak. I liked the reflective stitching, but the latch is weak. The plastic latch on the German shepherd's collar snapped after catching a squirrel recently. He was running free through traffic and ended up trapped. He was lucky that he didn't get injured. A dog that weighs more than 50 pounds probably shouldn't use it.

This is the best dual-screen television There are several styles of collar on the market
5/5

When it comes to martingale collars, I love the safety, but hate the fact that you have to slide them over the head in order to take The tooth of one of my dogs got stuck in the collar of the other as they were playing. It was panicky for both of them as well as me. While trying to calm the two of them and to separate them without harming my dog, they eventually tied my dog in an awkward position. There was something frightening about it. There was no harm done to the other dog's tooth because it was dislodged from the collar hardware. What I would do if I had the Max & It would have been so easy to just unclip the Neo Collar and save us all from being scared! This is the first time I've heard of Max & Jamie I am in love with Neo because of their donations to rescue groups. I tried one of their collars on one of our pit bulls and fell in love with it. My dogs receive this now and I insist on putting it on them all. The collar has both the safety of a martingale so that it won't accidentally slip off of their neck, and the convenience of a buckle so they can remove the collar when Unlike most buckles, this one has a "lock" position to make it If you walk your dog, this product is a must-have. You can choose from a variety of collars and sizes. The money spent on it is worth every penny! This is a great recommendation!.
