I didn't pay attention to how it was made, but it's of good quality. I recommend getting the extension because it is made of a much thicker and more durable material.
My first tug was white, and it snapped for no apparent reason while walking my dog, but I liked the item so much that I ordered another. I just think it was all messed up on the inside.

Some customers have complained about the bag holder's lack of space, but it is only advertised to hold a few bags, not an entire roll. I've bought this leash from several different sellers in various versions, but they're all identical. I don't care for it, but that has more to do with the dog on it than with the product. The issue with the leash is not so much the function as it is the quality of the tether; my dog nervously chews on it when we go to the vet, and I end up buying a new leash once a year because the tether is so easily torn on these; also, no, it doesn't tangle as they advertise, but it will rub up against something and rip the leash; for example, our cement planters outside of our home have ripped right through the.
NO, IT DOESN'T! The bag compartment is a small space that can only hold one item. I can only carry two bags at a time, and the handle is a little smaller than I'd like. It's comfortable to use without gloves, but modest gloves only fit three fingers.
The quality of the leash is outstanding! It's easy to hold for long walks, and the movement as it comes in and out while the dog walks is very smooth. There are no tangles when using this product. I like how this one comes with a built-in poop bag holder. I was able to get five of the six bags. This is the best retractable leash I've ever had! For almost four years, I've been using the same brand. When my German Shepherd was a puppy, I got it for him. It has lasted a long time. It was well worth the money!.
With my puppy, I've used four retractable leashes. This is fantastic, and I appreciate the additional feature that prevents him from chewing the actual leash. That elevates the level of toughness. Very light, strong, and user-friendly. Baggies have a welcoming pocket.
This leash is fantastic. I was skeptical because I've had other leashes where the lock mechanism was praised but I found it difficult to use. This is fantastic; when I take my ShihTzu out, she is always on a leash, and this one extends and retracts much more easily than other leashes! With a small push or flick of my thumb, I can easily activate the lock button. If I could, I'd give it a ten-star rating. Three of these have already been broken by my 35-pound dog. We bought it because of the storage compartment, but the first one was broken by my dog. He was a puppy, so don't get too excited. It's possible he ate it. Who knows what will happen. So we went out and bought another one, as well as a backup just in case, because we'd had enough of not having a leash. The other two have now snapped as well, despite our best efforts to avoid letting him chew on it, and it showed no signs of wear before snapping. This leash would be fine if you have a small dog who never pulls; however, the name "tug" is misleading because it cannot withstand any tugging. It was a huge letdown.
