Questions & Answers
Mine came from within the borders of the United States.
It's made of hard plastic, but it's grippy and comfortable to hold.
The 26-foot leash was purchased by me. It is arranged according to its length. This is fantastic. My little Sophie has a lot of freedom because it's easy to release and retract.
First, be aware that the locking mechanism has a learning curve and can be a little sticky at first; it took us about a week to get used to it. I wish it was color-coded. It's color-coded to show whether it's locked or unlocked at a glance. br>br>If the leash is taut (due to the dog pulling), the retractor will always lock and will not work. Because my terrier is only 26 years old, I wrap my hand around the leash and pull it toward me as I approach him to provide slack. This unlocks the lock, allowing for a smooth retraction. If the port locks up when the leash isn't taut, fiddle with the thumb slide until the back edge pops up slightly, indicating that it is unlocked. Extend the leash slightly and feed it back into the case slowly. On the first day, I only had to do it once. br>br>I hope this information is useful.

First and foremost, get yourself a Flexi. Second, rather than being a leash, this is more of a toy. The locking switch is cumbersome, the locking mechanism barely has any tension, but will allow enough friction to scare your dog with the high pitched whining noise it makes, and the locking mechanism barely has any tension. br>If my 35-pound dog gets too excited, she can rip the leash right out of the handle. I'm aware of her momentum, and I'm confident that if pushed, the handle would not be able to hold it. br>The nylon's width also makes it easy to get caught in the handle. br>EVEN ONE of these design flaws can put you in danger, because anything can happen in a split second. second. In my opinion, putting them all on the same leash is a recipe for disaster. There's a reason why this package is so affordable. The only items worth anything are the collar and bowl; even the bag holder is clumsy and will distract your dog with noise. br>Lastly, the instructions on the box instruct dog owners to attach this leash to the collar and choke their dog to heel them. br>Save yourself the trouble and buy a better leash, pair it with a harness, and invest in training so you don't have to choke your dog as per the instructions on the box.
We've gone through a lot of retractable leashes since getting my six-month-old English bulldog. The problem is that as he grows older, he becomes overly excited and attempts to TAKE OFF on the retractable leash, despite the fact that he has a limited range of motion. Other leashes had broken by that point, but this one had remained unbroken throughout the into image test. It does not tangle in any way. Heavy duty leash, sometimes the tract gets stuck because the puppy is pulling one direction while we are pulling another, but overall, a good durable leash with all the extras! If I ever need another leash, this will undoubtedly be my first choice!.
I've found that this retractable leash is the best and longest I've ever seen. On this leash, you can truly let your dog run around. When they need to go outside in the rain, I can stand on the porch or in the garage and let them out for a quick potty break.
It appears to be well constructed and is simple to use, lock, and unlock. The leash cord's fabric is sturdy, but not as thick as I had hoped. I don't think it'll break with normal use, but make sure your dog doesn't chew on it.
We bought this for our cat after a neighbor left poison for mice and we couldn't leave him alone any longer. He's a big male cat, so I was surprised he didn't put up much of a fight. He's trotting along like he's been on a leash his whole life after four or five times out, and we're quite pleased with it. It gives him plenty of room to move around, and the reel runs smoothly and hasn't twisted in any way. It was also nice to have the extras.
For my eight-year-old terrier, I purchased a PINA retractable leash and a HALTI no-pull harness. Sammy Dammit and I took a few days to get used to both items, but we are now huge fans of the combination. It's completely changed my life. br>br>Now that I have complete control over my little guy, walks are much more relaxing. His manners have vastly improved. A lead is included in the HALTI harness. The PINA leash is simple to retract and lock, and when used together, they form the most reliable close-call system available. I've never used a body lead in a dangerous situation before. br>br>After having both knees and hips replaced, I must strictly adhere to the sidewalk in our condominium complex, especially at night. Sammy Dammit can now (almost) freely roam the grassy slopes and check his pee-pee-pee-pee-pee pee-pee-pee-pee-pee-pee-pee-pee-pee-pee-pee- I'm still standing on solid ground, so I'm getting mail. I never feel unsteady or as if I'm being dragged by my dog, whether the leash is free or locked. br>br>The harness has been meticulously designed and executed to ensure that it is both safe and comfortable. The leash mechanism is smooth and balanced, but it does not retract (of course) when there is full tension on it. It's still a breeze to keep track of. 100% strong recommendation.
It appears to be quite sturdy and long-lasting so far.
There are two major flaws in the PINA retractable leash: br>First and foremost - The second flaw is that the leash locking mechanism is erratic, which leads to the second flaw - The unit was made to be unrepairable on purpose. In fact, because it employs small 'barbed' one-piece construction, it cannot be disassembled without causing destruction. fasteners that go in both directions br>br>Save your money and get a new leash instead.
