How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

EACH LEASH SOLD GOES TO A DOG RESCUE: We donate an identical leash to a dog rescue for every leash sold. Dog rescue organizations are always in need of supplies for their dogs. Every purchase results in a one-for-one donation. You get a premium, high-quality leash and you donate one to a rescue when you buy one of our dog leashes. We can provide a never-ending supply of leashes to dog rescues if we work together.
DOG RESCUES: Every month, we donate to various dog rescues across the United States. We count how many leashes, collars, harnesses, toys, and other items we've sold at the end of each month. We calculate how many rescues we can support for the month based on the number. We donate down our list of rescues until each one has received a donation, then we return to the top of the list; in exceptional circumstances, we will donate to rescues in turn based on their immediate needs.
QUALITY CONSTRUCTION: Our dog leashes have all of the features that you would expect from a top-of-the-line dog leash. Our dog leash is 1" wide and made of 2mm thick but soft heavy duty nylon webbing, making it suitable for even the largest dog breeds. They're designed to withstand the constant abuse that dog rescuers subject them to. We spoke with a number of dog rescue organizations to learn what they were looking for in the ideal dog leash. Tough, Heavy Duty, Durable, Comfortable, and Affordably were their responses.
HIGH-END FEATURES: Padded soft neoprene handle for wrist comfort; D-ring near handle for attaching poop bags or other accessories. Heavy-duty metal clasp of excellent quality. Reflective stitching will help you be seen at night.

Questions & Answers

The handle of the leash should be comfortable. Because I can't use my dominant hand due to carpal tunnel syndrome, how do I hold the leash with my left?

As someone who suffers from arthritis, I can empathize with you. The padding and soft material are very nice; they keep the leash from slipping and are much more comfortable to hold than a web or leather leash, and they last. Because my hands are a little challenged with my giant dog (95 lbs), I do occasionally wear a lightweight workman glove when I am out on the trails where he may see a wild animal and need a firmer grip.

Is this leash suitable for a 130 pound pitbull?

There are several thickness options available, and the 1" version is extremely strong and long-lasting. I have a 95-pound Newfie Lab mix, as well as a three-year-old Max and Neo Leash. I agree that a harness should be used, but proper training is essential. The purpose of the leash on your dog is to help him navigate. The Max and Neo leash is strong enough to hold him in place, but what about your shoulder joint or hands, as well as general safety from falls and your dog inappropriately interacting with another dog? or a young person. Max and Neo are two of my favorite characters in the entire series.

What is the length of the clasp in inches, and does it appear to be heavy-duty? I'm looking for a 12-inch small clasp. dog?

From the top of the clasp to the bottom, the length is 2 and1/4". It appears to be of substantial weight. My canine companion has reached the age of seventy-one.

Is it truly purple, as their collars appear to be? On my monitor, it appears to be different. ?

I bought a pink leash that was exactly that.

Before I buy a product, I always read the negative reviews and would like to respond to them

I felt fairly confident in making this purchase with the bonus feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel-good feel- It's a good feeling to be able to contribute to a worthwhile cause. And I wasn't let down! 100% as promoted and I LOVE LOVE the additional D- a ring on the handle (perfect for poop bags) I have a nearly 100-pound yellow Lab mix (possibly part pit bull) who, as he gets older, has mellowed. He will, however, defy a leash if he comes across another person or dog with whom he feels compelled to make friends - My beast is obnoxiously friendly, and the only benefit of his years of physical challenges is that he can't jump on his new friends (strangers who might not appreciate experiencing what it's like to be tackled by a linebacker). But I'm getting ahead of myself. Those who complain about poor workmanship must have received a faulty leash, in my opinion. I'm sure the company would replace it without hesitation (right?). br>As for the other complaints in the negative reviews, they are as follows: "It isn't in the least bit reflective. " I'm not sure what they were expecting from glow-in-the-dark. the- dark? Mine is not a glow-in-the-dark product. When I walk my dog at night, however, I use a headlamp, and when I look over at him, the stitching on his leash reflects back at me. br>Another negative review praises the padded handle but complains that the leash's sharp edges tore their hands while trying to control their dog. I've had to grab the lead a few times to avoid a potential dogfight (or possible stranger molestation, lol) and haven't had any problems with my hands being cut. It is "probably a good leash for a well-behaved dog," according to the review. dog who is well behaved " What are you talking about?" You're tarnishing a company's image because you can't keep your dog under control? It's not their fault; there are leashes with two handles, thick rope types, dog training schools, and a plethora of other options that don't boil down to admitting that you can't control your animal without blaming the leash manufacturers. "My puppy chewed through it," I hear the majority of the remaining complaints. "How is this the fault of the manufacturer? Are they also blaming their slipper company?" Some people should not be allowed to own pets, in my opinion.

Max and Neo get a five-star rating! I really like this company because they not only do a great job of giving back to the community, but they also have a great corporate social responsibility program
5/5

Their merchandise, on the other hand, is fantastic. Great prices, sturdy materials, but the thing we liked the most was. . The reflective collars and leashes actually glow in the dark, keeping our pets safe as well as those who look after them! br>The collars in the photo are reflective black collars. Leashes that are black.

The leash is quite nice
5/5

The leash is quite nice.
PROs: I was surprised by how much the reflective stitching reflects. The handle is padded and covered in a soft fabric, which is fantastic. I like that with every purchase, a leash is donated to a rescue organization (without raising the price above that of other similar leashes). The clasp is substantial in size and weight.
CONs: It's nice to have a thick clasp, but it makes the collar heavier for the dog, which he doesn't mind. The strap portion isn't very thick and could be chewed through easily, especially by larger dogs. I don't care for the metal D ring, but I can't figure out how to get rid of it (it's firmly attached). I always wrap the handle around my wrist and grip the leash, but the D ring is right there, so I have to make sure it's on the opposite side of the leash from my palm or my hand will hurt.

I don't have to worry about it getting ruined like leather does, and it still looks professional
5/5

I buy a lot of things for my dogs, but leashes last a long time in this house. Even so, they've each had at least three. In the last two years, I've accumulated a total of five. We have a reputation for being tough on leashes - I do a lot of training and step on the handle, so they drag leashes through the woods, mud, snow, and even rivers. The dogs pick up the leashes and fling them around the house when they want to go for a walk. I've had leather and basic nylon leashes before, but this one appears to be of higher quality. I don't have to worry about it getting ruined like leather does, but it still looks professional. The padded handle is extremely comfortable to hold. And I don't think it'll snap if my 110-pound rottie/akita mix sees a squirrel down the street - Although I may be dragged, the leash will easily tow me. br>br>I already had it dirty, so I just threw it in a pillow case and washed it on cold; it came out fine. br>br>You can't beat the fact that this seller donates a leash to a rescue for every purchase, either. I emailed them to request that my local humane society be added to the list, and they responded within hours, saying that they had been added!.

With a chewing, teething puppy, it lasted much longer than expected! Our golden retriever puppy has a bad habit of chewing! We enjoyed this leash so much that I ordered another one today
5/5

It's tough and the right length for him to train with. When we are preparing food or eating, we tether him, and he bites and chews on the leash. Despite the fact that the leash has been chewed, it still works well enough for us to walk him every day. We've bought other leashes in the past, but this is our favorite. Despite the fact that it appears to be in poor condition, we continue to use it. The new leash should last longer now that his sharp baby teeth are falling out.

Burning Rope I was hoping to fall in love with this leash
3/5

The handle is well-padded, and I appreciate the fact that my purchase will benefit rescue organizations. But. If you have a well-behaved dog, this leash could be useful. dog who is well behaved However, if you have a puppy or a strong, puller dog, you should not use this method. You do not need this leash. I've only had it for a day, but my hands are all ripped up. The edges are "sharp," and they take your skin with them as they slide through your hands. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the outcome.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this song
5/5

I went on the hunt for a hot pink leash and came across quite a few. I was leaning towards purchasing this brand after reading the reviews on Max and Neo as a company and the quality of their product, but when I learned that they also donate an identical item to a shelter animal, I fell in love with the concept and knew I had to buy it. I like how it has a padded handle, and the 4 foot length is ideal for a small dog. It also has reflective strips that are useful when walking. The fabric is the perfect thickness, and the clasp for attaching to a harness or collar is slightly larger than the miniature ones I've used previously, making it easier to attach and detach as needed. This is a brand that I absolutely adore and will continue to purchase from in the future.
