It did not work at all for my dogs when I bought two of them. To ensure that one was not damaged, I took them both out of the packages. Because I wasn't sure whether the batteries that came with it were still functional, I used new batteries. As a precaution, I had both my husband and me check the instructions after putting in the batteries by themselves. Ignore them, they don't work and the buttons that are supposed to turn them on don't work? The insides of these tiny creatures do not make any connections, so you can tell when you look inside. When I opened the packaging, I thought they would be a significant improvement in their overall stability due to the fact that they seemed so much more robust in photos, reviews and even in person. This is useless! just hope I can get a two-day shipping on the old collars, they were 1/3rd the price at the time, and they just didn't have the more secure I would not recommend this product to anyone!!! I am not at all happy. It seems as if the person who came up with this didn't even have dogs themselves. This is a shame since the idea is a great one. What I am experiencing are the following This is 1. I wanted a light that would show from the back of the collar of my dogs. The collar's opening is narrow and a clip has to be attached above the collar to allow a collar to slide through. There is enough room to fit a 1" collar, but it will not fit the collar's depth. To differentiate between thick orange field collars and thin nylon collars, we have thick orange field collars & thin nylon collars I don't fit either of them. The light is usable only if we jury rig it to clip with the provided carabiner clip. I found the clip over the collar to be made of flimsy plastic You could probably pop it off without too much trouble. 2.
