My experience with PetSafe harnesses has always been good, but some of them are really poor quality. I find this one to be absolutely horrific. Even after one walk with it on, it is very obvious that my dog is in discomfort because it has no padding at all. It was properly fitted according to the instructions inside the packet As far as I can tell, the problem is with the harness. In the event that I return It would have been better if I had listened to the negative reviews more closely. A harness, if it created lacerations and irritation after just one walk, has NO reason to do so. It is a horrible product and I will be returning it.
