He hasn't even noticed it. He actually said something to me! "Thanks Mom for this wonderful apple air tag holder," he purred. Now you know where to look for me if I get a little naughty and run around the neighborhood! " haha - No, but seriously, this is a fantastic item!.
So far, everything has gone well! I originally ordered a hanging holder for my Apple airtag to use on my dog's collar, but I didn't like how it hung down (my dog tried to chew on it and was successful). I also like how the apple logo can be turned inward on this one to make it less noticeable.
Collars of various sizes are accommodated. I've never seen a better solution for pets and airbags. br>br>We have one on the small collar of our kitten and one on the large collar of our husky. It is appropriate for both situations. The kitten's collar obviously has a lot of give to it, but it doesn't move around or bother her. Her air tag had previously fallen out of a standard (hanging) holder, but this one appears to be far more secure, and she seems to prefer it.
It was a good fit for the AirTag, which fit nicely in it. I'm concerned about the parts that attach it to my dog's collar on the sides; They don't appear to be particularly thick or robust. It'll work fine as long as there's no pressure on it, but rubbing it will most likely break it and cause it to disappear. Time will tell, but for now, it'll suffice.
The air tag has never been taken off or soaked. It worked out great and has seen a lot of action!.
This is a little too big for my small maltipoo, who weighs 11 pounds. It still works, but it keeps sliding around on her collar, causing it to end up under her chin, which is probably inconvenient for her. I believe it would look good on a bigger dog with a bigger collar.
I bought two of these, one for each dog. After two months, the band that goes around the dog's collar broke. Her collar isn't even messed with. She makes an attempt to roughhouse with the other dog. The AirTag wouldn't stay in the pocket when we went to the house with the first calm dog. It was necessary to come up with a new design, which was accomplished. I will not purchase this product again.
It's been on my dog for a couple of days now. I've been using it for three months and have had no issues. He swims almost every day and runs a lot, so he hasn't had any issues.
