I DO NOT recommend this product! This was the second time in the past few years that I have purchased this style of collar. A clear view of the name and the phone number was evident. Last week, I repurchased them since they were getting a bit worn from daily use. As a result, the manufacturer "Gotags" has decided that now it is more important to clearly display THEIR LOGO where my pet's name and number should be My name and number are visible, but any size adjustment to the collar, which I would imagine is a common occurrence unless the collar is a perfect fit, results in my phone number being blocked. We're still able to see the logo, which is good. Formerly, the collars would not need to be removed to clearly see my contact information should the dog get lost, but now if the person does not get close enough to actually grab the dog and remove the collar, this information becomes useful only after the dog gets lost. This collar has been completely overpriced and has only a few numbers on it now. If you want a functional product, buy a plain collar and bring it to an embroidery shop so they can personalize it. This product does not do what it is intended to do.

Dissatisfied with the service. Quite simply, the logo is placed at the end of the collar, between the middle and the end of the adjustment band, where the name and number appear. There is no purpose for putting the telephone number on the collar in this way. Here is a picture that has been blurred out. It was fortunate that I was able to position the adjustment band so most of the numbers were visible, but that meant the collar was slightly I thought you guys might enjoy this The logo should be placed on the inside or the other side! In my mind I was not going to write a review until I received an unwelcome email asking me to do so from the stupid company.

It is a review of the ID collar that updates my experience. I originally ordered the medium collar after consulting the sizing chart, but upon receipt, it was discovered that the collar length adjustment slider obscured two digits of the ID when the collar was adjusted to the correct size since I purchased the collar primarily for easy identification, By cutting the collar webbing at the slider and shortening the overall length of the webbing by about 3", I corrected the visibility problem. Once reassembled and the collar was adjusted to the correct size, the slider was no longer in the way, allowing the ID to be viewed unobstructed. My satisfaction was short lived, however, when I realized I could/should have ordered a size large instead, since I would have to cut and shorten the collar anyway For the same price as the size medium, I would get a collar that's one inch wide instead of 3/4" wide along with a correspondingly larger buckle, leash attachment ring, and ID letters and numbers. Put it down to my perfectionist nature $18 was the cost of the second purchase. We ordered a large collar to match the collar we ordered in 95. In the same way that I did the size medium, I plan to shorten this one as well Regardless of what the size chart says, a large will fit a neck measuring 16", and is true regardless of the sizing chart. It would be best to buy a size large and shorten it by cutting the webbing as described above, even if it is smaller than 16" Since I own the large and medium sizes, I am able to report that the larger size provides the following advantages A better chance of spotting IDs The ability to adjust more easily The leash is easier to attach to, and the collar is easier to remove from, the dog. The collar is easier to attach to, and the dog's collar is easier to remove.

This is what I did after I removed the collar from my dog. Last night, I received this collar and when I opened it, I was delighted with it. In an attempt to make this collar fit, I took it off my dog and tried to size it down to fit it. As the adjusting buckle will cover and obscure the telephone number, it is necessary to cover it so that I can adjust the collar to the size of my little dog. A cut is necessary on the collar, and the adjustable end will need to be re-made. The collar is designed poorly for such a small size. It may have been possible to sew the logo on the end of the clasp in a smaller area in order to start the personalization process near the non adjustable end. Due to the design of the logo, it is almost impossible for this adjustment to be made with the available material. In order to promote their logo, I did not pay. Personalized information was laid out in a way that is easily readable for me. You just have to picture a lost dog that's completely freaked out. The collar would be easier to read if someone found a lost animal without having to attempt to take it off and change it to read the information? As I have mentioned before, I agree with the design overall, but they took up too much space to accommodate their.

Seeing how much I loved the collar, it was only natural that I would want the same collar for my new pet. It has gone up 20% over the past 3 years (as have prices everywhere else so this isn't surprising) and there is no longer an engraved tag attached to the collar. The most disappointing thing is that the quality has decreased significantly! I purchased the new collar for him when we first fed him and it seems so flimsy and not as sturdy as the temporary collar I initially bought for My new collar feels weak and brittle with a snap buckle and I'm worried that it will break when I remove it and put it Even though the embroidery looks nice before you put it on the dog, it is poorly placed once it is on the collar. As mentioned, there is sufficient room for his 4 character name and phone number so that it will not be blocked by the plastic piece to adjust the size on the picture. However, the goTags tag takes up most of the space. While the name of the person still shows up, the phone number is partially hidden and illegible.
