I'm really happy with it. I've been using this collar for a small dog and it's well made, heavy, the metal latch is easy to use, and it probably won't break like most plastic collars. The collar fits my 5 lb Poodle very well, I was worried it would be a little heavy and annoying for her, but she has been wearing it for a couple of months. Her lack of familiarity with it does not appear to bother her.

Since our danes wear the same size collars (they are still growing), we can easily switch them from one collar to another. The collar I purchased from Country Brook is my second purchase from them. (Around 2 years ago) I bought a strong and sturdy collar for her. There is a 100lb Caucasian Sheppard who is strong and fast, and I am able to use the old collar with no problems. Although this collar appears to be made of a lighter material than the last. A second day later, she snapped it. Luckily, she also had on her harness, so she paid attention to the "stop" order. I suppose it would have been cheaper to make it out of lighter materials, but that would defeat the point. The mistake of buying another will not happen again.

My dog weighs 100 pounds and is a I have had this collar for over a year now and it has held up perfectly. Now we're buying two new colors, only to add more colors, the original blue collar we bought last year is still in great shape. We had a lab that was 6 months last year, and it was great to be able to make adjustments to accommodate his growth. When I bought the collar, I was initially attracted to the metal clasp. We were not able to keep our big labs collars that were made of plastic clasps. I can't recommend this collar enough for its quality!.
