It's very cute and I like it a lot Aside from the fact one side will not close, I love it. With It, I can take one cat at a time to the vet where they can be comfortable, which is what I bought it for! However, I find that being unable to shut the faulty side so my cats won't jump out is frustrating.

It's the perfect seat for my Chihuahua Maltese mix, a 10 lb Chihuahua mix. She was initially scared of the canopy, but now she jumps right in and loves the shade provided by it. There are a few buttons that snap the canopy down that are difficult to push, so I took one out. It is unbelievably difficult to get the latch to snap shut. I cannot close it with my hands because it hurts so much. It seems that the latches are becoming easier to close over time after I have used them a little. Just a bit. However, I will overlook the pain since the carrier is so convenient and the right size for my new car's seat that it will make up for the pain. Luckily, the carrier locks onto the frame, that is very easy to do. Using the locks to secure and remove the front panel is a breeze. I am not concerned about the material's durability. It hardly fits in my car, but with the cushion from my former larger seat, it could. You should check the size of the basket according to the size of your pet, if it is a small one. It was essential that I had the snap-down canopy in order to keep my spry dog from jumping out, even when tethered. It would be great if the canopy snapped more easily, but it does solve that problem. We'll keep our fingers crossed that latches will become easier to operate in the future. This product is of good quality and has a great concept. There was only one problem one of the locks was broken when the shipment It's supposed to be locked down at both ends. looked as if it had already been used and sent back (probably because it is damaged). The instruction book was folded back and there was no plastic around it, so it looked as if someone had gone through it and folded the pages back and left it there. Anyhow, I am tired of having to deal with returns, so I wired the broken side down and I am As others have reported receiving one with a broken latch, I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. It was a losing bet for me. If the seller continues to sell the returned items, then eventually I may just have to give up on the seller. There's no doubt that it would have been an excellent car seat if the latch hadn't been broken. In terms of everything else, I really enjoy it -- The rating is reduced from 5 to 3 because of this.
