Despite her age, our older dog has Cushing's disease. We had to take her off her medications due to other health issues, so now she can't control her urination. In the past year, we've spent so much money To try a washable one, I wanted one that would be easy to clean. We want to help her so we are willing to do whatever it takes. The first time she peed within two hours after being let out, we couldn't get angry at her. Boo/our cat would get sick on it and finally cross the rainbow bridge and thus suffered the loss of our new 8 x 11 dining room rug. As we were blotting, we tried to clean spots. We've got all sorts of puppy pads laying around. Surely there was some easier way to accomplish this. This is what I found when I started googling! My sanity is still intact thanks to this. My husband and I rolled our rug up so that the backside could be cleaned and put down as soon as our LucyLou beats heartworms.
I am so pleased with this product because it looks good under our dining room table that I order the smaller size to be used in my bedroom.

I use these on my guinea pigs and they work great. Now that I have been using the first one for a couple days, there is no odor at all. As it stands, I have two mats to swap out, and that is a weekly thing for me.

I let my guinea pigs sleep on this mat under their tunnel when it is not.

There have been times when we've tried washing dog beds and buying cheap blankets, but that always ended up being more of a hassle than it was My husband and I have relied on this blanket for a long time. Simple to clean, will absorb a lot of water and will keep odors to a minimum. It is truly slip resistant, and even when Brutus skates along it, it stays in place. Additionally, we were concerned how well it would grip hardwood floors, but it adheres to them just like a dream.
