These blankets performed as expected in our large front loading machine, even when we used a full-sized comforter. These blankets had hundreds of reviews, so we were hopeful that they would perform as predicted. In fact, they would be a 100 percent hit if a few minor adjustments were made. Is it waterproof? Without a doubt! When we returned from over a week away, we instructed the cat sitter to just leave the blankets and barf out on the bed, and we would wash them No matter how many spots of barf there were on the blanket, none of them managed to seep through, not one bit. Having the right size? This is one of the things we are hoping for. Our Queen and King selections were too small to cover the sides of the bed much, and the size of the available sizes was too small as well (only the top of the bed covered). There is a very high probability any animal will barf over the edge of the bed, not just in the center when you have animals. My immediate reaction was to test this blanket upon arrival It has been on my bed for a while now. I poured a glass of water over A small lake formed on the bed caused the water to bead up. The small lake was still in place after thirty minutes. There is one potential downside that I can see when a cat pees, the pee might bead up on top of the blanket and then roll off the sides, which might mean the bedspread will get At my house, the blanket has not yet been tested by the cats.

While it is a bit pricey, it is well worth every penny. It is a bit heavy when it comes out of the washer, so it will take an extra few hours to dry. It was extremely good quality and I purchased this for a dog I took care of who had Buying it because it is leak proof was the right decision for me. It has been more than two months since I bought it and I have cleaned it twice. The material is smooth, but not fluffy. I wouldn't call it lightweight, but it isn't light either. Be sure to check the stitching on all blankets like this to ensure they won't come apart in the wash, or if your pet, puppy, or toddler ingests anything during washing.

I will admit, I was relieved to pay so much for a blanket that I knew would be peed on, but that was its whole point! Now I'm using it for the rest of my linens and it's a bit of a life saver! Due to the fact that I have a studio apartment and a cat with medical conditions, I am obliged to protect my furniture from damage. I have found that this blanket does a great job of doing I have owned the bed for 6 or so months now, and she has only peed on it a handful of times. Interestingly, the bed has kept every mess contained, and the blankets beneath it are dry and smell of urine only occasionally.
In terms of its design, it is relatively nice. I personally like it a lot better than the other blankets I have tried so far. Even if it isn't my first choice, on my bed I don't think it matters much. If that's its worst attribute, I'm fine with it. It does add weight, but if that's the worst, I'm fine with it. My one warning, and it is related to how well this blanket will do its job If you plan to use this device for an animal that has accidents, you should develop the habit of smelling the animal first. You might not notice the spot until it is too late, so you let it sit longer than you want to. Yet this blanket is very impressive in its ability to save whatever is under it.
