It doesn't shed, so don't expect it to do so. I've had mine for a long time and have washed it several times. It appears to be in similar condition to when I first purchased it.
Is pink the color of bones that are red?
I have no idea. It was too small for me, so I returned it.
What country does it come from?
It's made in China, according to the label.

It's soft and pleasant to the touch, but it's not tough enough to withstand chewing

It's very soft, and my dog enjoys snuggling in it, but it doesn't stand up to his chewing. He chews antlers and wraps them inside the blanket, which results in tears after three or four weeks. We'll keep it as long as it doesn't become dangerous to him, but we're not likely to get another. A thicker blanket is required.

I wanted him to have a soft blanket in his crate and bed to keep him warm. Many pet blankets are either pricey or huggable. This blanket is the perfect price and size; it's the same size as a standard throw blanket, and our son adores it. We've washed it a few times and it's still going strong. I'm going to buy a second one just in case we need it.

This blanket is a big hit with my son! He sleeps with it every night and brings it out of his kennel to lay on when he visits us in the living room. We've already washed it a few times because it's super soft, a good size, and easy to clean because he sheds. It hasn't torn or frayed because he chews on it from time to time.
