I am guessing no since its top would not fit around your dog's nose if its width is greater than 2 1/2 inches wide. It only takes a few minutes to fit everything else. I ordered them because they look so closely like the expensive specs goggles from Rex. The toys come in a very nice case, but when I got them out of the box, I was surprised to find out that they do not have any padding on the inside, so they are kind of Though the elastic straps are easy to adjust and the dog seems to fit comfortably in them, you should keep in mind that the lenses are not scratch proof and can scratch quite easily while wearing them. I believe they are reasonably airy and fitting pretty well although my service dog was not too fond of wearing them at first. I would expect that they will take some time and/or training to become comfortable with. It could be better overall, but for the price you pay, it's a pretty good product, so if you'd like something better then spend more. The only reason I did not give these goggles a five star rating is that I feel they should have some padding on the inside, which I plan to.
These were received today and I gave them a try on my 55-pound lab/Shepard She tried them on for about 15 minutes and only tried to take them off a few times. They fit comfortably and she was wearing them after that. The only time she could get them off was the first time. She seems to like the way they fit her face. In preparation for a UTV riding trip, I just purchased these. I'll let you know when I've tried them out. went in a car with all of the windows down and she did a great job. Although the goggles didn't move as she leaned out of the window, they appeared to stay in place. There would be only one con in low light, which would be limited vision. There is a lot of tint on them. The case they came in was also very nice. I have updated I think these are great. It was a wonderful experience to spend several days in Utah's desert. This is something my dog would be happy to do if I gave it to him. When we hiked and rode in our RZR, they stayed on great and kept the sun and dust out of her eyes. The system is fantastic! I highly recommend it!.
My black lab is a perfect fit for the glasses Despite their very good fit, the adjustable strap keeps them securely in place throughout the day. They have been a godsend to her and have allowed her to be outside between 1045 a. m. and 130 p. m. . After wearing them for over an hour at a time, they have become a natural part of her. The time between 0 and 4 AM While she can be outside at any time prior to 600 PM with these UV-protective goggles, she can wear them for as long as she wears them. We had a problem with the UV coating when we received the first pair of eyes, as she pawed at them and tried to remove them. It did not take her long to get used to them, and she actually began to wear them well up to It took about 10 days for the caregiver to leave the lights on for two hours one day, and until then, As she rubbed the lenses along a wire fence, she was able to get them off. There was pretty much no UV protection left after that. As long as we wear her sunglasses for about an hour at a time, and we limit her time wearing them to one hour or less at a time, she's happy. I believe she realizes they actually protect her eyes, and they're more comfortable that way. Dog goggles seem to be plagued by a common complaint that the protective coating is easily scratched off, regardless of the brand. Buying two pairs is a good idea. As a sacrifice, you will use the first pair to train your dog, closely supervising it and slowly increasing the time that they wear them. Once the dog has become used to them, you can use the second pair to protect them There will come a time when they won't look that good.
The glasses fit him perfectly and he can see well! Finally, we have a pair that he can wear! There are none that fit the size of his eyes that we have tried. As a result, they end up squishing against his eyes or one of them being too narrow! I finally found a pair that fits. To determine if his eyes are being pinched, I looked through the lenses with a lamp in order to see if they were being squished in his case because he cannot tell me and wears As a result, I am sure now. After they're tried out on the hike, we'll try them out on the trail!.
When she wears these, she will go outside and spend hours outside in the sunlight. Hoping they will work as well in the winter snowy weather. Orders would be placed again and I would recommend it to others.
The breed tends to sit in the middle of a lot of things sized for "small" dogs and "larger" dogs. I have a fairly standard-sized corgi. It's also a bit odd in shape However, the nose piece fit my dog perfectly, even though the overall eye shield portion was too large for him. If the eye shield were too small on a larger dog, the nose piece may be too small. As the sizing issue isn't really the seller's fault, I can return and reorder the smaller size. This is the main reason the rating dropped to 4/5 stars.
They seem to ignore the shape of the dogs' faces and do not use padding to help keep their product from getting in their eyes and even the dog's eyelashes, what to me is nothing to write on, would seep onto the lens in making it uncomfortable for my Husky to wear. . . There should be a 1/4 inch mat on the bottom of the goggle and at least 1/2 inch on the top, suited to the dog's face and shape. For the price they should have as well as instructions with the goggles. . . though the case was.
She gets frustrated with them and wants to take them off when she has smaller ones. Then she won't be able to use them. keeps them on all day because she holds her head outside the window so that her eyes don't dry out so fast, and I absolutely love them, as she holds her head out the window a lot.
