It appeals to me. I made sure to order a medium size for my 9-pound chihuahua mix based on the measurements. My only criticism is that the overall design should have continued all the way to the snap buttons rather than ending at the shoulders. It's perfect for the spring and autumn seasons, as well as a cool summer evening. I'm in awe of how adorable it is.

For me, the sizing chart was not accurate

I like the look of this, but the measurements were off when compared to my dog, so I looked at similar breeds and sizes, and a lot of people got large, which is a little too big for my 8 1/2 pound shih-tzu. It's too baggy on him because he's a Shih Tzu/ Chihuahua/Maltese mix, but I'll see what I can do. I also noticed in the reviews that some people said they bought a medium, but the description said large, and vice versa, so I'm not sure what they got. All I know is that it's a little too big for me.
