Measurements are the way to go! The weight of my dog is 15 pounds. The medium is the perfect size.
I ordered a small for my 7-pound dog, and it fits, but it's a little tight. I also ordered a M in the hopes of getting a better fit, but it turned out to be way too big! I think I needed a small and a half.
Sure, why not? Your pet will stay warm and comfortable in our hoody.
My Maltipoo/Shih Tzu mix weighed 14 pounds at the time of purchase.

I placed an order for several items to prepare my son for the upcoming winter months. My dog is a chihuahua/jack russell terrier mix who weighs about 15 pounds and fits into the size chart. He has a small neck and a large chest, so he wanted to make sure his back was completely covered. The hoodie is extremely soft and warm. incredibly fashionable I haven't washed it yet, so I'll let you know when I do. This is something he truly enjoys. I prefer to take it easy most of the time. He may be put off by the velcro, but he looks forward to putting this pullover on. I wish the slit for the attached harnesse was a little wider. This one fit the best out of everything I ordered, and I'm keeping it!.
99, you're completely insane! This was purchased for my 13-year-old boxer, who is ALWAYS cold! He's basically the size of a colossal chihuahua, skinny and frail, and he adores being under blankets or anywhere warm and cuddly! I usually purchase Reddy brand dog clothing from Petco because it is so soft that I would wear it myself! Reddy, on the other hand, is ridiculously expensive for a dog sweater! I'm talking about a couple of hundred dollars here! So I figured, why not, it's only $17? If it doesn't work out, I'm out less than a 20 spot, you know? I was completely taken aback. For my frail old man, this hoody is extremely thick and warm! Although I'm not sure why the hood is advertised as wind resistant when there aren't even any ear holes? Isn't it odd? Let's face it, who uses the hoods on a dog hoodie for anything but looks? However, don't get me wrong, it feels exactly like a cheap Hanes or Fruit of the Loom hoodie in terms of quality. You know the ones, the ones that are super thick, stiff, and don't stretch? That's correct. By no means would I feel comfortable wearing this as a human, but it's perfect for my dog! Because it doesn't have any stretch, it keeps its shape and doesn't sag on him after a few days. Surprisingly, I prefer this type of material (for the pups, of course) to the material used by the big name brands for that reason! I mean, you've got to be kidding me! 17 bucks to keep my dog warm AND make him look like a super boujie in Burberry? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes I'll be back to place more orders! If you're tossing it back and forth, DON'T DON'T DON'T DON'T DON'T DON Just make sure your sizing is correct because, as I previously stated, there isn't much give or stretch to it.
It appeared to be soft, and it appeared to be comfortable. Thankfully/unfortunately, the sizing is accurate. I went with the Large (her measurements were right on the limit), but I wanted it snug and hoped it would stretch a little. It didn't fit, so I went up a size. Chris Farley is next in line. 'Big girl in a small coat,' says the narrator. In the body of a little girl, there is a big girl. EDIT: br>br> (Reduced Stars)br>Got the XL, which was way too tight around our girl's "armpits. " Returned. I'm hoping to locate one.
br>br>When we traveled by plane, my dog enjoyed wearing it. High-quality and fashionable! The only disadvantage is that the bottom side is long, which means that if you don't pull it up when your dog needs to tinkle, he or she will have an accident.
The circumferences of the neck and chest are not proportional to the length of the body. For my AKC bred French Bulldogs (23 lbs. ), I ordered two Large size outfits. 26 lbs). Because the reviews indicated that it was a little tight, the size was increased. The outfits encircle my neck and prevent them from walking because they are too tight in the chest; the length, of course, was designed for a large dog such as a Labrador Retriever. A large dog's neck or chest, such as a lab's, will not fit into these outfits. Is it possible that the manufacturer considers giant preying mantises to be pets?.
I placed a large order. Mini Aussie Male Dog: 25" chest girth, 15" neck, 19" neck to tail base, and 21" neck to feet/floor measurements 32 lbs. The product arrived in excellent condition. The fabric is beautiful, and the print is eye-catching. There is no stretch in the hoodie. The length of the back was exceptional. The base end came to a halt an inch before his tail, giving him plenty of room to pee. poop in a non-intimidating manner A good 1. There's a 5" slack in the belly. PART THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING: It was a close fit for his tiny head. Legs barely fit through leg holes (the front of the chest should be sewn wider to accommodate natural stride). tapered). Because the leg holes aren't sewn wider, the hoodie is incredibly tight across his front chest and behind his front legs (causing future chaffing). His top back was causing him a great deal of discomfort. I was able to get the first leg in, but the second proved to be too difficult. Only the front portion is included. He couldn't do anything because the tops of his hackles were too tight, but everything else on his body was fine. It would have been perfect if the leg part had been sewn wider; unfortunately, I had to return it. If your dog is only an inch or two shorter than the average dog, My male dog's measurements are larger in the chest than my female dog's. Then a Large would be appropriate. Perhaps an XL would be more comfortable in the arms, but I'm sure it would be too long and wide for him to pee in. poop on it, poop on it, poop on it, Bummer. For comparison, he normally wears a size XL in Petco Reddy brand hoodies, and the width, shoulder, and length of this L Plaid hoodie and his Red XL hoodie from Petco were the SAME. length. However, the neck and legs of this Amazon Plaid hoodie were too narrow. It appears that there was a lack of quality control, as if the same arm hole patterns were used for all sizes. See the photos below for a comparison. This is simply my opinion based on the dimensions of my dog. The hoodie has a great overall appearance and feel. For my dog, it simply did not work. It would be beneficial if product reviewers included information about their dogs' chest, length, and weight. On their reviews, they have neck measurements.
I went with a medium and it's perfect! The small is quite small, perhaps for a Yorkie or something similar, but it's of excellent quality, and he looks adorable in it!.
I bought this product because we got our puppy in May, and there were a few cooler days when he didn't want to go outside, especially if it was raining. Our puppy weighed around 7 or 8 pounds when we bought it, so we went with a medium size. It was an excellent fit for him. I don't like putting his head in because the neck hole is too small and doesn't stretch for me. It's fine in my opinion, and my husband can easily put it on. It's super soft on the inside, and my dog is notorious for refusing to wear anything. He wasn't in a rush to leave this one, though. It's a well-made item that has been approved by puppies.
