This product is brittle and dried out, which is a major disappointment. My yorkie's topknot hair is easily broken in this environment. Will not be used in any way; I've already placed an order for something else. br>I don't recommend it.

It's too easy for them to fall out of my dog's fur

They are too easily removed from my dog's hair. Despite winding them around My dog's topknot more than three times, which is not recommended because it breaks the hair, they do not hold. I'm very dissatisfied because I'm now stuck with 600 bands that won't stay in. Useless!.

Doing my yorkies' hair is a lot of fun. When I use the ones designed for children's hair, they get tangled and pull her hair out, but not these ones. They stay put and come with a handy rubber band container.

Maintain a firm grip

I used to use a slightly larger band, but I find that these are easier to put in because I don't have to wrap it as many times. They aren't quite as stretchy as I had anticipated, but they do hold up well. I have a mini poodle, and his hair is fluffier than that of other small dogs. The previous band I used would become "buried" in the hair, making it extremely difficult to locate and remove. It's right in front of you with these, and all you have to do is snip it with the scissors to break it. There are so many bands that it will take nearly two years to see them all. Because most of the colors are translucent, I like them a lot. He is shown before and after I put the band in his hair in the photos.

Many of the bands on the market are so small that they are difficult to pick up and wrap around the hair. It's a joy to listen to these bands. It was simple to use and was nicely wrapped. The color-sorted box is one of my favorites.
