I really enjoyed wearing this coat. It is very well made and well designed. As I had two dogs that were just on the edge of fitting into the small size, I got the medium size and it's perfect. The medium size has enough adjustment to fit both my 13 pound dog and my 16 pound dog. The maltipoo weighs five pounds. It's obvious there was a lot of thought put into this A belly band on this coat is cut to accommodate male dogs very comfortably, so potty time is never an issue! The coat is not water-resistant, though! Despite the water resistance, I would say these coats are not intended as raincoats. If you need one specifically, I would suggest going with another coat. The jacket does not fit into the harness, but it's really chic and warm, and if you want a jacket that will work with a harness, I don't think you'll find a better jacket for the price.
