All things considered, this little jacket is excellent "minus the size" (The sizes are off by a mile!!) A small would not even fit on my small eight week lab puppy or my adult chihuahua. There is a note on the XL to say that the XL is for German shepherd dogs only It's a mastiff. Both of these statements are false. In my order for 4 of these jackets for my 4 dogs, I got them in sizes sm to XL and not one of them fit any of them. Born and raised in the mountains of Colorado. The little guy seemed to be a little chilly, so I bought this vest. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was, how easy it was to put on, and how well it worked. The vest is cut in a way that makes it impossible for him to pee on it since he is a little boy. Aside from the vest being one of my best purchases, I was very impressed with it. The book is highly recommended. Still, the hood is a problem. It has a snap at the end of it that keeps it as a collar, so he didn't mind that so much. You can also connect a leash to a halter through a small opening at the back.

I am in awe of how adorable this is! It was the size small I bought for my 9Ib Shihtzu. As long as your dog is bigger than this, I would definitely recommend sizing up because my tiny dog fits fine in the small. There are several reasons why I prefer this diaper.
