There is too much space around the neck hole. Due to the fact it does not ask for an accurate measurement around the neck of your dog, I was skeptical at first. Unfortunately, the neck hole on this halter is way too large for my dog, and he steps right through it all the time, while the rest fits well. My problem was easily resolved by safety pinning it to make it smaller, and once that was done, it worked fine. My dog does not seem bothered by the sliding, but it does seem to slide side to side. Now that my dog has been treated for heat exhaustion, he can handle the heat more easily. Since it was too hot for him to walk, we had to shorten them and now he can walk for an hour and still have energy left. The hat is comfortable for him to wear around the house and on the yard without any problems.
