I'm not sure. It's not something I've bought from a health food store. I've never been to a health food store before. I had no idea catnip could be used to make tea. It's only for my cats; I don't use it for myself.
The best thing to do is to inquire with the seller. It is, however, pesticide-free, in my opinion.
It's set to S for me.

Take it seriously. The brand is popular with cats, and I took it up to the California mountains as a treat for the wild mountain lions, who loved it! I saw an opportunity to jump on the big one's back and ride him while it was distracted rubbing its face on this nip, and I took it! Oh, how we had a great time all day, laughing and playing! We laughed at each other and told family stories. His tales were, of course, a little wacky. Who am I to judge if something is violent? Anyway, the nip was wearing off, and he began to crave my flesh. So I got up and left. Yup. It was a good time.
I bought the 1 pound bulk size to support our rescue organization by making cat toys. br>It's a large bag, measuring 13 1/2" by 11 1/2" and weighing 2 ounces more than a pound. br>Fresh, clean, with a pleasant aroma and a light green color with a coarse texture. br>I'd use this bag to make tea. br>br>When I opened the bag, one cat began eating the catnip I had sprinkled on his bed, while the other cat reached into the bag for some. br>Passed the cat test, which is good because they are senior cats (18 years old) who aren't interested in much. Yes, I think it was a good purchase!.
Space travel necessitates the use of the spice. Fuzz Aldrin nods his head in agreement. br>br>I'm happy with the quality and the low price, and I'll definitely buy this product again.
A large cardboard box contained this foil lined paper envelope/bag. My cats attacked the box as soon as I brought it into the house. This made it a little difficult to open the box safely because little paws kept snaking out to get at it, and little toofies chewed on the box's corners. br>br>The odor is very strong; despite the catnip bag being sealed, I could smell it when I opened the box. As I was attempting to open the envelope, Beans (pictured) attacked it with vigour, clawing a hole in the paper and foil and chewing it. She's usually a timid cat, but this bag made her go crazy. When I first opened the bag, it smelled like catnip and all of my cats tried to grab it. We had to drag them into another room and lock them in until I finished putting it away (at which point they were given some). br>br>The leaf is a good size for handling and has a lot of flower heads and seed pods. There are some sticks in the catnip, but they're mostly easy to crush and aren't particularly sharp. Despite compressing the bag tightly, it completely filled my large metal canister, and I still had more than half a bag of catnip left, which I had to figure out because my cats were actively attacking it. We keep the food in a metal tin so they can't chew it up, and we ended up putting the bag of leftovers in the freezer to keep them out, but now they mob me whenever I open the freezer. br>br>It's a great product, but if you have cats, you should put them in another room before attempting to open it. Oh, and there's a LOT of product: for the price, you get an incredible amount of catnip-flavored treats. In a year, up to four cats can use it. This would be ideal for someone who has a lot of cats to spoil or makes cat toys. Catnip tea, which is a mild sedative, can help with headaches and insomnia, as well as soothe an upset stomach. Because it's a natural insect repellent, it can be used in a variety of ways.
My cats, on the other hand, are in heaven. It has a nice, fresh scent to it. It is dust-free and clean. The quality is definitely "people" rather than "cat" quality. In a glass jar, I combined this with nettle leaf and dandelion root to make a tea that I drink every day. It's delicious! My cats are developing a dependency on drugs. Catnip is considered "crack for cats," according to legend. That is correct!.
Edit - Some of it is still available. This catnip is so good that I'm about to reorder it because it's the best I've ever had and it's still fresh. br>br>Original assessment - I ordered this because we have six cats and regular packages are quickly depleted. I had no idea how much catnip I was about to consume. It's been a while since I bought this, and it appears that only a small portion of it has been consumed. Having such a large quantity of it is great because it allows me to do more than just give them small pinches. My one girl enjoys rolling around in it on the cat tower platform, and I can put enough there for her to do so without looking like a green plant kitty. Another of my cats, a boy, enjoys going from catnip spot to catnip spot and sticking his paw or nose in each one before settling on one. I've got enough cat nip in this bag for him to do this without getting into the cat nip I give the other cats. I have enough that I can stuff their toys and their cat beds with it, and there's still plenty left! br>br>Despite the fact that it is a large bag that takes a long time to go through, there is a seal on the bag to keep the contents fresh. The seal appears to be very strong, and I'm confident that it will keep its freshness for a long time. They also appear to prefer this variety over others. br>br> Perhaps it's because it's fresher or better prepared? They don't know why, but it's obvious that they enjoy it. br>br> Considering how much my cats seem to enjoy this brand, I get so much catnip for such a low price that I'll probably keep buying it.
I wanted to roll around in it myself because it was so fluffy. It's a big hit with my cats. I won't have to buy catnip again for a long time thanks to the large package.
I didn't know how much a pound of catnip cost at first. It's a 10x16" bag that's stuffed to the brim. a lot. And, if both cats enjoyed it, I'd be pleased with the quantity. As it stands, I'm going to freeze some of it to help preserve its freshness. It was extremely fresh and nutritious when it arrived. looking and very finely chopped. I'm not sure about the bottom of this monster bag, but the top half is free of twigs, large stems, and other debris. br>There are about a half-dozen different nepeta varieties used as catnip. Most cats enjoy this variety, which I believe is known as "true catnip. " This one has a strong minty scent and is the variety I have in my garden. I should have known my cat wouldn't like this bag of the stuff because she doesn't like the garden one. If only I'd thought to inquire. Apart from that, it's a great deal for a lot of fresh minced catnip.
