But, lately, it's been heavy in sticks and stems the width of the Cats' bites on average, and I've had to pick them out because they get stuck in the roofs of the Cats' mouths. Others don't have sticks, but they're usually so dry that they're powder. KONG is still their favorite carnip, it's just a pain to clean.
For several years, I've been purchasing Kong catnip for my felines. They are attracted to the scent and run as soon as the metal can is opened. It doesn't have as much dried-out catnip as some other brands, so I feel like I'm getting a good deal. br>br>It's a big hit with my cats, who roll around in it and eat it. I don't have to sift it before giving it to them because there are very few stems in it. br>br>I usually buy two cans and keep the second one frozen until I'm ready to use it. According to my cats' behavior, it doesn't appear to lose any flavor or scent as a result of this.
I have four cats that live with me in the house. One thing they all agree on is this: The catnip from Kong is fantastic! Each cat has their own scratch pad, which is stocked with Kong catnip. Their Kong catnip portions are jealously guarded by all of them! They roll in it, smell it, and eat it, so they must find it irresistible! Every cat looks at me with disdain if I use a different brand. It's entertaining as well as amusing. Kong catnip has a pleasant scent, and the pleasure my four felines derive from it is well worth the price; I enjoy watching Muffins, Penny Lane, Thomas, and Bleue enjoy themselves with Kong catnip!.
This one always gets his attention, and I keep it in one of his refillable catnip plush toys. The tin container keeps the catnip fresh and well contained; even when turned sideways in a frequently used drawer, I never lose the lid or contents inside; a small amount of this catnip goes a long way when used in refillable toys. I'll also occasionally put small toys inside the tin and shake them around to get the scent out before giving them to the cat.
The quality of King catnip has always appealed to me. This batch, on the other hand, will be the last, as I had to remove all of the large and sharp twigs from the mix before I could give it to the cats. Some of them were more than an inch long. If the cats chewed or swallowed them, they would have been dangerous. This had never happened before with any of my Kong purchases.
They still play like kittens and enjoy cat nip. It appears to be new, and if they are pleased, I am as well.
We have previously purchased Kong products and have never encountered any issues. br>We put catnip in our house, but our cat ignored it. Catnip is something he usually enjoys. br>We put it out for our cats who live outside. They chose to ignore it. br>I'm not sure if we got a bad batch or not, but we have a lot of it and can't even get a cat to sniff it.
This is something I've been buying for years, and my cats love it. They also enjoy the surprise toys that are covered in catnip - It's like when kids beg for the toy in a new cereal box!.
