You add water to it.
It works wonders on tomato spider mites and pepper weevils.
Tribals in India use this as a hair oil on a regular basis. The strong odor is going to be your problem. It's probably better to mix a few drops of this oil into your other hair products rather than applying it directly to your hair.
Just keep in mind that it solidifies at temperatures below 60°F.

Diluted? Aphids are not killed by this substance. It didn't work for me when I tried it. It doesn't smell like 100% neem doesn't smell like it doesnt smell like I tried neem by oleavine on Amazon before trying this one because I needed a larger size, and the other one by oleavine worked, but this one does not. It's still collecting dust on my shelf, and I should return it, but it's probably too late now. It occurred to me as I was writing this. If you want to kill bugs organically for gardening, I do not recommend purchasing this. I read another reviewer who said the same thing about this product, but I still bought it. When I go back to the other company, I'll buy the earlier black bottle.
I'd say the product is a five-star product, but it shouldn't be used on plants. The reason for this is that it combines with the cold water used in outdoor faucets. Because the oil hardens, it is unable to mix with the water. Now I have to figure out how to clean my 2 gallon sprayer, which is a mess. Not for plant treatment unless hot water is used (which is inconvenient when using a 2 gallon sprayer outside).
It definitely stinks like hell. It's understandable that bugs would avoid it. It looks like a Chinese restaurant to me. Garlic is the most prominent flavor. Mosquitoes are abundant in the south, where I live. This has proven to be effective in keeping them out of my yard.
This is what I use for itchy skin on any part of the body, and it works in under 5 minutes. It gets rid of all the bad bacteria and is also very useful for the plants; I mix it with 50/50 part soap detergent water with Neem Oil (to make it mild) and spray it on plants after the sun sets so they don't get burned. I'm using it in my yard to spray around the ant holes, and I have to do it a couple of times a day. So far, it hasn't worked because the ants return once the smell has gone away. I've never used any store-bought insect repellents on the kids, but a thin layer of Neem Oil on the skin keeps mosquitoes and other insects at bay when they're outside. Neem and Neem Oil have long been used by our family and ancestors in India, so I've always been aware of their benefits. Most importantly, because it is an all-natural product, there are no side effects. this is a natural product.
For the purpose for which I purchased it, it performs flawlessly. It has a neem scent to it, which isn't the best, but it's acceptable. With it, I whip up some body butter. It has a lot of skin-beneficial properties. It's also effective at killing and repelling bugs. br>br>The first time I bought this, I thought I had chiggers because I had scabbies, which I had never heard of before. Anyway, I didn't want to put a toxic pesticide on my skin, so I made a whipped neem body butter instead. For ten days, I applied it several times a day from neck to foot, and the scabies vanished. I now use it whenever someone gets a cut, scrape, or almost any other type of injury. The advantages outweigh the disadvantages, lol. If you get lice, I've heard that you can apply the oil to your hair and scalp for 20 minutes, wash it off, and you'll be lice-free. In any case, I'll buy it again.
This neem oil is not to be purchased. I used it on six extremely healthy Cannabis plants, and it killed them in a matter of hours. They've vanished completely after two days. To kill fungus gnats, I mixed the ingredients exactly as directed with soap in precise proportions. It killed some (but not all) of the gnats, as well as ALL of the plants it was sprayed on. I honestly wish I had just put up with the gnats, but now I've spent over $300 on clones and soil. DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT if you want to avoid a headache.
I'm a gardener who grows everything organically. I use it exactly as directed, with a dash of Safer's Soap thrown in for good measure, and it works wonders on bad aphid infestations in my greenhouse. Please do this later in the day, when pollinators aren't around. It has the potential to harm or at the very least deter beneficial insects from visiting your plants.
