Questions & Answers

A scoop dose of lysine contains how much amino acid? What is the number of doses in one 100 gram bottle?

Thanks! According to the label on the jar, 50 mg of L-glutamine are in it A 100 gram jar of Lysine Hydrochloride in a palatable base" I am not sure how many doses there are in the jar (it does not specify the number). My supply lasts a really long time because I only use it occasionally. It is recommended that one rounded scoop be taken twice a day. Usually I just use a scoop in their wet food at night, and I find that it works fine. A quarter teaspoon would be about the right size, I would guess? Anyhow, it seems like a pretty good product, and my cats seem to like the taste, and they eat it when mixed in with the wet food that they eat. It may be of help to you.

In what are the ingredients of Vetoquinol Viralys Powder found?

In this post, I'd like to tell people what hydrolyzed foods are so that they can prepare this product for their cats. As a result of hydrolysis, food is chemically digested. It is the protein, in this case fish, that makes up the meal In order to break down proteins in liver, it is boiled in sulfuric acid for anywhere between a few hours to more than a day. In order to bring the ph level back to neutral, lye is added. This is exactly what I would like to give to You can make it up or The problem with buying from the internet is that you don't know what you are buying. It is usually not possible to obtain the full label & It is rare that the print is legible, and when it is, it is typically so small and blurred that it is indecipherable.

Can it be stored for a long period of time?

Purchase from us and we'll ship it directly to you. The products that you will be receiving from To_Your_Health will be the freshest According to today's date, December 28, 2015, the expiration dates on inventory containers should no longer be longer than December 2017. Thanks so much.

What kind of artificial sweetener does this have? Because I do not eat that, I do not wish to feed it to my cat, and the tube gell also contains that. ?

The Brewers Yeast has more of a malt taste, but I haven't tried it yet. This is very healthy for cats to eat, and brewer's yeast is a good source of protein and vitamins. A good conditioner for the coat as well. Making the coat shiny is supposed to do so. A maple flavor is present in the tube of gel. This maple syrup comes from natural maple trees. In addition to maple syrup, the treats should also have the flavor of maple syrup. Two times now, I've had the problem that the treats are too hard and my cat is forced to spit them As I was receiving my dog's first bag of treats, my veterinarian assured me that they were soft to chew and that my cat would love A softer bag would be nice. The bag of treats that Amazon gave me was returned. While it was replaced, they replaced it with another bag of treat that is just as hard to open. Sorry to hear you're disappointed. It would be much better if I just switched to the powder version because these products here are actually helpful.

It is possible for cats to become ill from Lysine, as it does not affect viruses in their body
3/5

It is not recommended for your cat to eat this. The authors of a study published in BioMed Veterinary Central Research reviewing experiments testing the effectiveness of lysine on viruses in cats published their study in November 2015. By searching their names and the words lysine and cat you will find and be able to read the study. Through the National Institutes of Health, it is free to access. The experiment with cats and lysine supplements was examined by Bol and Bunnik. discovered that lysine had no effect on viruses, so there was no benefit to the cats. The present research concludes that eating lysine-enriched foods did not prevent or prevent the shedding of viral particles or to decrease seroconversion, frequency, or severity of clinical signs caused by FHV-infected cats. The results of this study indicate that lysine supplementation in cats is not effective for preventing or treating ocular or upper respiratory disease caused by FHV. Viral replication may even be enhanced by the addition of Vitamin 1 to the diet. The lysine in lysine can cause harm to your cat, as well as not helping your cat heal from an upper respiratory infection. It will take time for your cat to adjust to its new environment. * These studies revealed that lysine does not affect cats' arginine levels, according to Bol and Bunnik's review of studies As for arginine, if it is affected, it will have a detrimental effect on cats. It is vital for cats to be able to convert protein wastes (ammonias) into urea and urein Therefore, it plays a vital role in the function of the kidney. The consumption of anything that would impair or might impair kidney function shouldn't be done to your cat. There's nothing worse than goopy eyes when it comes to kidney disease.

A great product for cats with herpes! This amino acid is required for flare ups and is produced by lysine
5/5

As a worker with my local VSA (Voluntary Services For Animals), I provide assistance to animals in need. In addition to those abandoned kittens, a couple of kittens with crust on their eyes were also taken in The little ones' noses were stuffed full of crust and scabs I find this site to be pitiful It didn't take me more than 24 hours to take them all to the vet. I spent almost $800 after they said it was feline herpes (an upper respiratory infection that does not go away), which is a treatable condition but cannot be cured. Costs associated with vet care, testing, and other costs For each cat I had, they once again gave me some good but expensive medication that helped just a little. Their medicines were in liquid form, they had to put them in their eyes four times a day, and they had to be given special glasses. Antibiotics other than those mentioned above. There were a lot of problems, and I was miserable I mean, it didn't do much for me While it lessened it somewhat, they had to take the meds all the time. Searching the Internet for any information I could find seemed to be the best way to go A friend of mine told me about LYSINE! The idea really sounded like a bunch of "bull", but I was willing to give it a shot! The first thing I bought was paste & glue This gel-shaped substance was discovered in 1996 There was a lot of hate among the cats. The powder I bought then became my favorite. added it to wet food (not too much or they will A. ) & A. It was eaten by them! The symptoms of all the patients started to improve after a week of treatment. Vet meds were no longer an option for me as the cost was crippling & I stopped taking them They aren't getting any help at all. MONTH after the first symptoms appeared all the cats were totally better -- no crusty gooey eyes, no crusty nose, no sneezing, they were all better! My mouth dropped open when I saw this! After studying it, I learned how to utilize the L LYSINE & This is one of its The drug suppresses what causes the virus to flare up in the system, so taking it daily prevents outbreaks & ensures you don't get infected with it. We are experiencing full-blown symptoms in our house! As well as in humans, it works. They stayed with me & I kept them We have given them forms of LYSINE for over 2 years now, and they seem to need it Since that time, they have not experienced a flare up! My nose would sneeze and my head would hurt if I stopped it for a few months The first year of college they had gritty eyes and drool in their mouths Get them back on the board as soon as possible! I owned 5 cats at the time ( I had a 3 year old with me, and she also caught feline herpes from them! a bit hard to make sure everybody gets 250 words The dosage per tablet is 500 mg. You should see the look on their faces when they consume each other's food! In my case, I just put a scoop into a 3 oz can of wet, fed them three cans and the animals were fine I really like the way it works. The treats are not as popular as I think they should be, and many brands require you to give each cat ten at a time. Get your two daily doses! What a surprise! The treat was huge whether it was from another brand! Because they were only the size of a golf ball, I had only two a day! I love that. As a result, the cat-flavored LYSINE works well, mixes well in food, and can also be easily administered via a tube. It's good to start on this note. The first time I tried this, I put it on dry food and my cats wouldn't eat it, and the second time, it worked fine, my cats ate it just fine. Those that fell to the bottom of the dish or bowl were the most numerous. Aside from that, I also bought Take HUMAN grade LYSINE 500 mg tablets daily and eat plenty of protein Use a spoon to crush up the potatoes and mix in the honey Wet food can be mixed in this way. Cost effective and tastes more like a flavored powder than this flavored powder. Use a good wet food to mix with it for maximum taste and effectiveness. I assure you that you won't face any issues. The cats managed to get used to it pretty quickly. You can also buy LYSINE powder in bulk here, it's human grade, and you can use it for your pets. Crushed up already in a fine manner. I really like this & it works great Compared to other products, this is SO much less expensive. The fact that it is "human grade" is a bonus. Now that I don't need to take LYSINE & B12 for months, I can do anything I want It hasn't flared up since. I believe that this LYSINE is a miracle! For those who are beginning, I recommend this powder because it's flavorful and cats will like it. However, the pills, tablets, and capsules at your store or on here ( are the strongest & efficient Crush up finely and I found the best (so far). The drug is bitter, but cats do not seem to necessarily taste bitter. Either WAY or BRAND you choose, it will all but cure your cat of the virus, you won't have huge vet bills, and your cat will be pain free. It is expensive and useless to take these drugs. A total of 5 cats took LYSINE on and off Two years after they were put on leave, they don't have any symptoms and The kittens have a very good life, they are healthy and spoiled. To keep your wallet, yourself, and others happy, please do what's right for them You can do your cats a favor by cleaning up after them Put them on a LYSINE regimen of 250 mg a day The dosage should be 500 mg per day When the flare up occurs or when you start, take it twice a day. When symptoms subside, you can continue to take 250 mg daily to prevent symptoms from occurring in the future! Having said that, in order to reproduce it, please follow these instructions Humans and certain types of animals can be affected by FLARE UPS Herpes is caused by a virus called "ARGININE" and an amino acid called LYSINE is needed. It reduces the amount of amino acid ARGININE produced in the body when taken at higher doses and also prevents it from being overproduced. In this way, outbreaks of the herpes virus can be prevented. It will ADD to your problem if they have arginase ) in them! Several items with this in their ingredient lists have been found, so I thought I'd let you know for your safety. Here's what I did to help me deal with the situation I went through and hopefully it can help someone else Those along the way have taught me a lot!.

I am very happy with the It's 17 years old, and our kitty has feline herpes which flares up when stressed
5/5

While it is not chronic, when she times are stressful it results in her being congested and not eating, so she falls sick. Lysine has taken one look at my bags and bags of treats and bites and snacks, but she ignores them. My first reaction was haha - when I opened it and smelled it It is not possible. Despite the fact that the smell isn't great, there is a certain quality to it that could scare her away. There's a cat here who can hold liquid medication in her cheek for up to four minutes before spitting it out. Nevertheless, what do you say? It is sprinkled in her wet food, along with one or two tablespoons of water to aid her kidneys. It is mixed together until the color looks like this. The cat - The food industry I know that soup is good (I know - but It makes her giggle), and she is completely enthralled. A truly amazing experience. Indeed, I know what you're saying I'd like to tell you, however, that we have found something that we can get in her, and it has also greatly benefited her. 2 days after her tooth extraction, she began sneezing and having runny eyes and nose, and although things went well, she continued having difficulty breathing. When she catches her tail, she can now chase it without catching her breath. Is that not the triumph of the cat?.

Congestion associated with chronic upper respiratory problems can be treated with this product! A really severe cough and sneeze recently developed in my young cat
5/5

The girl was sneezing up a lot of thick mucous and was having trouble eating because she had a sore throat. She would vomit if she ate it. When she gets off of her antibiotics, this cough/sneeze/mucous keeps coming back. The vet found that she has some sort of virus (likely feline herpes or something like that) that is causing her to get sick. After adding this lysine to her routine, she started looking and feeling great. It should be added twice a day to her wet food. As soon as her symptoms subsided, the pain went away. Her third round of a month-long antibiotic treatment was just about to begin when we started her on this treatment She had almost completely resolved her symptoms by the time I called the vet the next day to cancel her appointment. I will get back to you within After a few days, all the symptoms had disappeared. Be sure to watch the dosage since too much administration can result in Also, we took care of that.
