My Mini-recommends To protect my red-headed dog, I'm looking for an American Shepherd breeder. In our CA, we want to keep our tri dog's coat from turning blonde/light. The sun of summer. It's for my black-haired friend. I'm bi, too. I was pleasantly surprised at how little you sprinkle on their food. The product also helps with a variety of other animal health symptoms or issues (check the manufacturer's website). For each animal, the amount is calculated based on its weight. So far, everyone's coats have been incredibly lustrous, soft, and sunburn-free.

When I bought my puppy, my breeder suggested that I add kelp to his diet. When my greater swiss mountain puppy was 12 weeks old, I started giving him this kelp supplement. It's so simple to use; I just sprinkle it on his food, and he loves the taste; my dog used to bite at his feet before I started using kelp, but now his skin doesn't itch, he sheds much less, and his coat looks amazing! We always get compliments on how shiny his coat is at the dog park and out and about. His coat is so black and sleek that it takes on a bluish tint when he's in the sun. I know it's the kelp because he was sick once and had to stay in the hospital for nearly a week. He was shedding profusely and his fur looked so dry and rough when we picked him up to bring him home that he appeared to be a completely different dog. Within 10 days of returning home and resuming his regular diet and kelp, his lovely coat was back to normal. I'm not sure if this product deters fleas, but we don't seem to have had any problems with them either. This item is unquestionably worthwhile!.

I assumed it was a kelp blend based on the word "blend. " There is no indication that this is mixed with nutritional yeast; kelp is green, yeast is beige, and the majority of what was in my bag was beige; therefore, it will be returned. There's no reason to dilute the kelp with yeast unless it's for cost reasons, and the cost isn't particularly low. I'm disappointed by the lack of information, which would have deterred me from purchasing it in the first place. Now I just have to package it, print a return label, and drive it somewhere.

We raise puppies, and this product is fantastic for providing all of the extra nutrition that pregnant moms require during pregnancy and breastfeeding. We put it on the puppies' food this year, and they loved it as well. Other kelp products that we tried were not well received by the dogs. This powder can be sprinkled directly on their food, and they enjoy it so much that they lick it up from the bowl's bottom.
