How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Cat professionals recommend Feliway Classic as the number one solution for assisting cats in adapting to challenging situations and reducing stress-related unwanted behaviors.
Reduction of scratching and urine spraying Clinically proven to reduce scratching and urine spraying in 9 out of 10 cats Results may be seen as early as 7 days after application
A drug-free solution Our diffuser mimics the natural pheromones released by nursing mothers, helping to put cats at ease and reduce conflict among them
A Feliway Classic Diffuser covers up to 700 square feet For best results, the diffuser should be plugged in continuously in the room where the cat spends the most time to prevent contaminants from entering the home. Avoid plugging the diffuser in behind doors, curtains, or behind furniture.
Approximately 4 weeks of use per vial This item is the refill only - you need to purchase the diffuser separately. In order to maximize effectiveness, replace the vial every 4 weeks and the diffuser every 6 months.

Questions & Answers

What is the size of the ceva feliway refill for Comfort Zone's ?

I would like to respond to some of the others who have answered this question, this product will not work with the Bath and Body Works It is too big in the part that screws into the bottle.

The feliway classic and multicat are two different products. What's the difference between the two?

A calming hormone that affects the face is classic. During greetings, cats rub each other's cheeks to show their affection. The hormone multicat is secreted by the mammary gland and since kittens nurse together, it helps reduce stress in cats who live with the same family.

Do you think the Feliway liquid at the bottom could be used? In any case, the diffuser is not able to use it all. ?

In order to be able to fully utilize my feliway bottles, I pop the top of the bottles off and condense into another. There is a bit of a mess, so you will need a flat head and a couple of paper towels. If you do this, you will use them all. My bottom has usually held another two weeks' worth of groceries out of it, so it's worth the five minutes.

Are the Feliway defusers from Ceva Feliway defusers the same or different from those made by Comfort Zone?

There are two types of Feliway products 1) Ceva manufactures Feliway, which was the original feline pheromone calming product. 2) Comfort Zone With Feliway contains lower amounts 1) Comfort Zone is less expensive to purchase. Over the past few years, the following have occurred 4) For mild/moderate situations (or for cats who have mild/moderate issues), Comfort Zone can be useful. Four-b) Feliway by Ceva is better suited to the severe or long-term environmental demands (highly stressful/more chaotic, etc), as well as for cats with chronic illnesses. Issues that have existed for some time.

As a result of the positive results my cat has experienced with this product, I am in love with it. There's no longer any fear in her eyes about her own shadow because she's calm and confident! What's more important to me and my family is how it has affected us. Upon discussing it with my vet, he assured me it is just cat pheromone and won't affect humans at all. Half of what he said is true. The problem is with how the pheromones are delivered to The fuel used for this process is Well, what do you think? You can find them in all kinds of places. The only difference is they are heated by this product and distributed airborne. It caused my family and me to lose appetite, feel nauseated, tired, dizzy, report feelings of inebriation, have visual disturbances, be physically weak, and have vision problems. It started slowly and gradually grew worse over a week until it became full-blown illness for us two weeks later. My first thought was that we might be ill with the flu. We were still not getting better after we had waited more than a week. It took me a while to realize that our symptoms improved if we went outside during When I started doing some research, I found that isoparaffinic hydrocarbons are 'likely' safe for humans, but that people who have sensitivity issues can experience all of the symptoms listed above. Despite my love for the product, I am unable to use it in the house due to the issues we are experiencing. I hope my review can help someone who might be experiencing these symptoms become aware they are not going crazy and they are only experiencing these symptoms because of their exposure to.

The effect lasts about 30 days, but does not last forever
4/5

My previous usage of the Comfort Zone had been without my knowledge of what a difference is. In light of the fact that I was moving, I decided to try the original. During the move, I put it in the room in which my cat would be quarantined until we figured out all the changes. For the first few days in the new house, she would explore other rooms and get scared and hiss, but as soon as she ran back to her room with the diffuser, she was rolling around purring like she hadn't just been scared a second before. Despite getting used to the house, she still prefers a room with a diffuser, since she feels most at peace in the room with the diffuser. This is why it gets a 4 star rating. I think it's really 3 if you ask me. I gave this a 5, since it does not last for 30 days. On October 25, I had to replace it because I had plugged it in the day we moved on October 12. I would say that's a disadvantage, because a Comfort Zone refill usually lasted around 30 days and I could always get two refills for the price of one Regardless, I will probably keep using this brand for as long as it says it will last. I do, however, wish it would last the maximum 30 days.

DON'T LAST MUCH LONGER THAN You need to keep it under 20! I use this as well as the Comfort Zone ones, and this does not last for About 18 months ago, I went to a friend's house I had to put up with 20 days max, now it feels like 15, while other people are still going strong after As I expect them to last at least 30 days as advertised as the Feliway are not cheap, I have 3 plugged in, across different areas to see if they help and will try them for 90 days

The wounds did not heal for two weeks because they were dirty and bleeding
5/5

I believe I found the answer to my prayers in this product. Your cats shouldn't be thrown outside because they have urine marks. In the past two years, we've noticed our cat drinking from our salt water pool and have given him fresh water and fed him, but he failed to come close or eat the food we presented him with. Because we could see through surveillance that food and water were being consumed by unwanted animals, we had to stop feeding. In one afternoon, we discovered the cat trapped on our balcony on our second floor, which was hungry, thirsty, dirty, and had bleeding wounds that did not heal for two weeks on several areas of the cat's After we applied antibiotic ointment he licked it off, then we measured his body weight and fed him amoxicillin cut into small pieces with canned food, he happily swallowed the entire dose twice a day for eight It is true that there are coyotes everywhere now, and that they love eating cats, including our city. It is best to keep the dog indoors at night since that is when coyotes hunt, so we neutered him, chipped him, and gave him shots. For nearly five years, he lived outside on his own in the open air. He did not like to remain inside. We were horrified when he started marking the inside of our house as his territory, so we let him out during the day and locked him up in our pool bath at night to keep him inside. We found Feliway, but it didn't work for our larger home so we tried six. The moment he continued to spray his scent, we were crushed. Our effort to domesticate him and keep him safe had Afterward, we read a review written by a kind soul who outlined all the ingredients in the Feliway brand. It's a bingo! Throughout our house, we only placed 3 bottles at the previously marked locations. The two weeks he followed us closely, every time he raised his tail at any sign he was trying to test us, we calmly pushed his butt in the ground and told him no. You should not give up if you have tried other products but were disappointed. We suggest giving this product a shot. Urine making is the primary reason most cats are outside, where they will be protected from coyotes, traffic, and other animals and diseases they may bring with them. The image I am seeing now is of my cat sleeping peacefully inside a warm house, safe from As a side note, he was boarding at a PetSmart pet hotel for six days after we took him to a vet for the previous urine to be cleaned off. We also had him hooked up to a feliway.

You can find out what's happening here. Please accept our sincere thanks for reaching out to We do not sell Comfort-Zone and Feliway under the same brand name. Comfort-Zone has their own behavior line, which differs from our Feliway Classic and Feliway Multi-label. Comfort-Zone with Feliway and other cat behavior products have been available in the past Feiway were one and the same, but they no longer work together. Former Feliway users will find the new label Feliway Classic to be familiar to them. Dear Kelly Davisson, Product Support Associate, I would like to thank you for your kind words.
