It is a good thing I was wrong. In a recent rehoming of two kittens, I acquired two female cats that did not get along. I had a docile cat who I had for over 8 years when I decided to take care of 2 cats that my friend asked us to rehome. She became a raving feral savage once we took them in. During a feeding, my cat was so angry about our new cat that I lived in fear of her for a month. She tried to rip my arm to shreds (but failed). This is the first time she has tried this. In addition, one of the cats is an intact female, which is an entirely separate issue, which I will address in a minute. Now that I have this collar on, my once docile but now feral cat is calm enough to allow me to feed her. I am astonished at what a difference it has made in her behavior. Her aggression towards me has diminished, and she no longer swatted or growled at the other animals. As sweet as she used to be, she's back. The new cat, the intact female, has been in heat and walks around the house at night, crying and peeing on the furniture. She is trying to leave her scent since she has been in heat for quite some time. The spay process is in a month, but since we can't sleep at the moment or even have a pee-pee, it would be nice if we could at least have some rest. You can stay for free in the house. I put a collar on the intact female and she stopped meowing at night after that. It is no longer possible for either cat to growl, swatte, meow, or pee. After several attempts I decided to use these collars along with the pheromone diffusers in order to get our cats to stop spraying in our house. In two of our four well-behaved children, we noticed such issues as hissing and anger (You'd think they could recognize a good thing when they saw one. However, that is not true.
