My horror at finding dried up hairballs under my bed would be beyond description! My cat has hairball problems so I bought this product. They call it a gel, but it is not clear, it is more of a paste. I squeeze a one-inch strip like toothpaste onto she eats once a day and she no longer gets hairballs. Getting back to sleep without barfing under the bed is now possible!.
She is long-haired, Norwegian Forest/Ragdoll. Our cat Katie is hooked on this! He has not had any problems with her hairballs after using this remedy. There is a mousse or whipped consistency to this product, as opposed to the typical messy gel or oil in a tube. It is easy to apply, and she doesn't have any trouble licking it off. The tube for her daily dose is a constant source of excitement when she sees us picking it up. This method works well and has kept her from throwing up those terrible hairball surprises. I would highly recommend this product to any cat owner!.

In order to keep it from getting on his paw, he licks it off. It's the second tube, and I have yet to see a hairball. They used to happen almost every day in the past.

There was something strange about the texture. He didn't go near it, and neither did our cat. The paw was so painful to lick that she did not even attempt it. It turned out to be another product (Richard's Organics Tuna Flavored Hairball Gel) that works well and that the cat enjoys - it works well and it tastes good. That is the one I highly recommend over this one!.
The product has been used for a week, and I've had no hair balls. The world would be a better place if everything were as simple as this.
