Questions & Answers

What are the specifications for the kiity mouse that is included with this purchase?

There is just the Cat Lax in the package, although there was a lollipop in it as well. We got it quicker than we expected, which was great.

Do you have a flavored version of this product?

No indication of flavors can be found on the package. Our three cats request licks several times a week, but they do not insist on it.

Can you tell me what the ingredients are?

I would like to know the ingredients are Cod Liver Oil, Caramel, Lecithin, Malt Syrup, and White Petrolatum, 0%. A solution of 1% sodium benzoate, (preservative), 0.02% The origin of the number 033 is The Alpha-Alpha sequence Water, Tocopheryl Acetate) (Antioxidant).

Are there any ways to use this that will be acceptable to my picky cats?

It is also very picky for my cat, but she loves these kinds of treats. There is a tendency for it to be quite Whenever I put some of it on the tip of my finger, she licks it off right away.

It's the only product I'd use to get rid of hairballs
5/5

The formula I use has worked for at least two decades, and unlike other oral medications my cat has always loved it, including the one I have now. It is his ritual every morning to lick the treat off my finger, and he begs for it every morning. As soon as I adopted my first child, I started making use of it This is a cat with a lot of hair. The fact that he was a rescue means that no one addressed the hairball issue, and he was exceedingly sick. A solid ball of hair the size of a cigar emerged from his throat after he gailed for a long time. Some cats even have to undergo surgical removal of hairballs. As a result, my vet recommended Cat Lax, and none of the long-term products I had tried As long as they're on it, hairball issues are common among cats with long hair. It's not necessary for short-haired cats (although they like to groom themselves and each other, so they swallow their own hair as well), but I always give it to them, too, because they'd feel left out if they weren't provided with The product is really great, and I am confident in its quality.

Thanks for posting this! I'm glad I found it

I grew up with cats in my house and this was always a staple. The cats just ate it off of my fingers all of the time. Constipation or coughing up hairballs never became a problem for them. Or so I thought, until this product disappeared from the face of the planet. My cats were never offered this product as a gift until I found it again on this website. They have been three years old since I bought them. I cannot lick it off my fingers, and these cats will not lick it off the tube either. There is just no way around the fact that my cats are extremely My cat will reluctantly lick one off, but he runs every single time the tube comes out, so I've learned to put it on his paw and he'll do that. Although he is not as smart as the other cat, he knows trouble is coming. I manage to catch this cat, I will put it on his paw, and his first reaction will be to run to the litter box, cover his paw with this with the litter still on it. The hooman knows now that I will have to wash it off since cats cannot eat litter! Now to push it into the mouth of this cat, I have to risk my life and my finger. It seems madness to torture myself and my cats with this stuff, don't you think? Because my cats suffer from vomiting and constipation caused by hairballs, and this stuff works quickly and effectively to relieve them, usually within 24 hours. There are others on the market that have better flavors, but my cats need this remedy within 24 hours, or they will go back to having trouble. It is beyond me why my cats haven't figured out this tube is a good friendly tube that helps them feel better. You know what I mean since I am a cat lover. As soon as I am able to get my hands on it, I will continue to buy as it is a great product. Hopefully, they will recognize the error of their ways and accept this stuff without complaint.

That's too bad. I've tried it for two months now and my daughter still gets hairballs. She loves the taste and it seemed to work great at first. Update

I went to the vet after the incident, and it turns out she's got a number of health issues, so I am not sure it was this product.

There is a happy cat in my house now! (and external - I have a cat with some internal deformities A huge part of their back leg is missing) He had an intense pain in his lower abdomen when he purged

Usually, his stools were solid like rocks, so there was no need to get into a lot of details, but sometimes there would be an "explosion" which was not It was better for him to be done with it (at least he felt better at the end)! In an attempt to give Miralax to him using the appropriate amount, I mixed some in his food since I find it to be harmless and very effective. So I bought several brands of cat laxatives and other items to help him get rid of hairballs, but Cat Lax was the only one he would consume! My first experiment was to increase or decrease amounts, but I noticed a difference right away. It looks like I used too much at the start, but he was definitely satisfied with the result. I believe that I have found the right amount, and the nice thing is that there is some "wiggle room", so I do not have to be exact. I give him some 2- or 3-percent. It helps him to use the Cat Lax 3x a day (not often), and since using it he has not had any explosions or hard stools outside of the litter box. Now he is defecating as a normal cat would. As far as I am concerned, I am much happier as well It took a lot of time to clean up after him, plus I had to clean HIM as well, as his body shape makes him hard to clean himself, and before Cate showed up, he had some trouble cleaning himself. He couldn't handle it because it was too big. As I would have to clean him, I didn't want to do it and neither did he! I am happy to say that after trying a lot of products, foods, etc. , CAT LAX has significantly impacted both of us. Thanks a lot, very much!.

A lot of hairballs are prevented by this stuff, reducing the amount of work that has to be done by the human servants.
