This alcohol bottle is 10%, so it should have some staying power for quite some time. It should also thaw easily if left inside a freezer. I must mention that the product is excellent. This product has been used twice by me for my German Shepherd with severe ear scratching problems and I have not faced any issues since using it.
Despite its low strength, you can still smell it. It has a medium aroma. As soon as the smell dissipates, it is gone. After I have cleaned an animal's ears, I do not notice it anymore.

This product has been my favorite since 2006 and I highly recommend This cleaner is wonderful, not only for the scent, but also for the product. I have a 12-year-old cat who has been using it since he was five years old because he suffers from allergies, which cause him to produce excessive ear wax throughout the years. It solely depends on how much wax is in his ears that leads me to clean his ears every other week to weekly. I went to clean his ears on Sunday and realized I was out of this cleaner so I had my husband go to Petco and buy it if it was there or get the closest thing to it and he did and I cleaned his ears with the Petco product. (Our cat) Jim was usurped by chaos, itchy times a billion, restless, meowing, rubbing his ears till they bled, he sounded like he was in an exam room, it was awful. Immediately after I saw the cleaner, I hopped on Amazon and ordered another one. He is perfectly fine today after I cleaned his ears last night. You didn't cry, you didn't itch excessively, you didn't give up. In the future, I won't let the bottle get below 3/4 without ordering a new one. My favorite product because I love how it cleans, deodorizes, and dries the ear canal, but does not just sit there.
We have a very sensitive golden retriever with the ears of a dog The lake where he lives is nice for him to swim in. One brand name ear cleaning solution causes him to cry. I've tried other brands, but they cause him to cry. It seems that vetoquinol is very mild, and while he does not like anything in his ears, he will tolerate this medicine. This product works great for both of us and has a nice aroma! It has now been stocked in my veterinarian's office as well.
I often have to treat ear infections in my German shepherd. The only person he hates touching his ears is himself. It is a liquid solution that you pour into his ears and massage into his skin. Gunk comes out of the dog's head and ears when he shakes them. It is for that reason that I do it outside. One of these methods once a day for a few days helps him to improve his ears. It can help keep his ears clean as long as he uses it regularly. My two vets both told me "his ears look good, to keep cleaning them keep doing what you're doing". While I'm not a veterinarian, there are some things you should know Basically, I'm just an owner of a dog. As a user, I have found this product to be.
Due to moisture staying in the ears, you are more likely to see your dog suffering from ear infection if their ears tend to hang over and hang down. It took a lot of antibiotic drops and this ear wash to treat a serious ear infection in my dog. As soon as I got home, I thought I should look on Amazon for the ear wash my vet had charged me $25 for. I was shocked to find it on Amazon for half the price. With this wash, my dog is doing great, and I will continue to clean him at least weekly.
My dog does not enjoy the scent, but I think it's very nice. As well as myself, I am a little concerned about this product. The smell of it lingered for hours after I used it on my dog. As we have tried several times, the same results have been experienced. Needless to say, we aren't using it, so the value is about zero for us. It does clean the leather on the ears and smells nice, but so does soap on a wash cloth, which is considerably less expensive. Concerns are swirling around inside my head.
It has been three years since I began using it. The treatment I, as a vet, use on my dogs is mild but effective. Of the 4 dogs I have had over the past 15 years, none of them have ever had an ear infection. They have fuzzy ears and flop down at the bottom In other words, they retain moisture. I asked my vet what the most common problem he sees (of all kinds) is a bacterial ear infection. It is a common practice for people not to clean their dog's ears, he said. I do pluck my dog's ears (not the Chihuahua, but the Bichon, poodle, and Lhasa). I once had a vet who firmly opposed ear plucking, even though I currently have a vet who disagrees with me on this issue It's an opinion that's being plucked. My dog lies down on his side in my lap, I fill the ear with solution, and then I wipe it clean with a wet cloth Taking a little time is all it takes. I close the ear flap, and then I massage the area. looks like a capital letter L. There is a tube that goes vertically down and the bottom of the L goes inward toward the center of the A few seconds of massage will allow the solution to penetrate well into the canal in some dogs that quickly flip the solution out. The mom of my Lhasa (owned by someone else) suffers from severe yeast infections, so I keep her ears cleaned weekly so that she doesn't suffer the same fate as her mother was in her old age. As well, my poodle loves to lick his paws so, on top of using Chlorhexiderm shampoo in his pads, I spray some ear cleaner after drying to remove the moist environment that causes the odor. There is a reduction in licking after using this product. Without this stuff, I wouldn't be able to function.
My ears have felt clean since I used this the first time, but I plan to use the whole bottle this time. Its not horrible smelling, but I believe that is due to the fact that my sinuses are already sensitive from The product would have been better if it were a bit thicker, but the one the vet gives you is much thinner liquid. A great value.
My first impression is that it seems to be a good product. There's no comparison between visiting the vet and saving money. Thanks a lot!.
We do not like snuggling dogs who are smelly, and the ears are notorious for contributing to this issue. You may want to consult your vet or groomer if you are not sure how much to use or the application itself, for the comfort of your furbaby. As we began using this product at home through our groomer, it is what we use at work. The benefits are so great that I ALWAYS make sure I have it on hand to use so I can easily add it to his grooming routine.
