The medication works for what it was meant to do from what I can tell. It should be noted that your TDS will very likely sky rocket with this medication (+*200 TDS per packet dissolved in 10 gallons, +400 TDS when used as a second dose). It can kill some species of invertebrates if you use it on them. Please stay away from it if you keep sensitive invertebrates. The first medicine you should take includes Praziquantel, and the second, Metro. If you have parasites, take Praziquantel, and if you have bacteria, take Metro only. Although it is considered to be a popular 'general cure', it should probably also indicate it can cause increases in TDS and sensitive invertebrates can be negatively affected.
