It appears to be the same package, as far as I can tell. Since both of our dogs died of cancer, I haven't purchased it in a long time. However, it has been applied to our cat. The image displayed is identical to the ones I purchased.
The list of ingredients can be found on the container. I purchased it because of the oatmeal, which is excellent for dry, irritated skin.
It's for dogs and cats of all skin types, according to the label on the bottle. On my dog, I know it's effective. Cats, I believe, are in the same boat.
I do not. Can be used on both dogs and horses. Obviously, wet it first and then wash it away. Because it's so thick, I'm sure you could dilute it and still get plenty of suds.

I've been using Vetoquinol Dermal Soothe to bathe my dogs for at least 25 years and love it! I bought this because the Dermal Soothe Shampoo was no longer available and I hoped it would be a good substitute. Dermal Soothe's fresh, clean almond scent lingered on my dogs for days after a bath, which was one of its best features. This shampoo doesn't have much of a scent to it. Although it appears mild and cleans adequately, my dog does not smell clean afterward, which is a deal breaker for me. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future.
I had taken my puppy to the vet for surgery, and she was fine after a few days. She's still soft after a week. I had to call the vet to find out what shampoo they used on her, and I found it here; it's great and will last a long time; I won't be buying anything else. WE ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY!.
I'm not sure why I used a different shampoo instead of our regular dog shampoo, but I did. We noticed our doxie's coat was no longer shiny and soft after a few uses over a period of time. Actually (duh), we never linked it to the shampoo change. I even informed our veterinarian about the change in her coat. I assumed she was ill or wasn't getting enough vitamins or something because it was dull and brillo pad-like. Anyway, last night we gave her a bath. She was chewing on her feet, which I noticed. She's doing something she'd never done before. Anyway, this morning we gave her a second bath. We shampooed her with her old Vet Aloe and Oatmeal shampoo, and holy smokes, her coat was shiny and soft again after she was dried! I could not believe my eyes. It was mind-blowing to see the difference! That's how dramatic it was. So we threw the other "allergy" shampoo in the trash, and I immediately placed an order for a new bottle of her Vet Aloe and Oatmeal on Amazon. Her allergies almost immediately return to normal. There's no greasiness or stickiness here, just a nice soft dachshund. We are not going to make any more changes.
It cleans them, and I've never had an issue with the shampoo drying out their skin. Although the jug is a little pricey, the shampoo does not expire and lasts me years with two dogs. There will be no strong, obnoxious scents. It only takes a little to make a big difference. br>br>It "fluffs" their coat for about 24 hours, making them super soft and huggable, just like any other shampoo. Following that, their coats revert to the slightly oily top coat that labs have by nature.
My dog suffers from skin allergies, but this shampoo eliminates them. In comparison to their dogs, everyone remarks on how soft his fur is. I don't even put conditioner on my hair anymore. I had to get used to the scent because I prefer unscented products (due to my dog's allergies). For people with sensitive skin, this is a must-have. It's far superior to the shampoo and conditioner recommended by the veterinarian.
Vetoquinol is a product line that I've been using on my previously itchy doodle for years. Since using it, he hasn't had any scratching or itching issues. I adore it, and he does as well!.
It's something she really enjoys. It's smooth and pleasant to the touch, and it has a pleasant scent. is kind to her skin I discovered that adding a few drops to her water creates a wonderful bubble bath, which she loves. Her complexion was flawless. The hair is a lot softer now. She is more at ease now.
The vet recommended that we start washing our Westie once a week to reduce scratching, and it has proven to be effective. Our westie's skin has also darkened from its previous red hue.
