Please don't use my initial rating as a guide because I haven't had the opportunity to use this shampoo yet as it was only delivered yesterday. A groomer recommended Soos shampoo, so I purchased it. I told her that for such a small bottle, it was quite pricey. In addition, I bought a bottle of conditioner. She explained that because the conditioner was concentrated, it should not be used at full strength. This shampoo and conditioner were discovered on another website, and it turns out that Soos shampoos and conditioners are concentrated, with a wide range of concentrations. This information, in my opinion, should be included in the Amazon product descriptions!.
After using their puppy shampoo, we used this for the first time on our four-month-old Australian Labradoodle yesterday. Her coat is silky smooth and free of matting from her bath. It's quite thick, so use a small amount and dilute it with water before pouring it over the dog. We mixed a dime-sized amount of conditioner with a pint of water, poured it over her, rubbed it in, and let it set for a few minutes before thoroughly rinsing it out. The best part was that she didn't have a wet dog odor. She had no odor from the shampoo or conditioner, either.
In a separate bottle, I dilute this product. It's quite rich, and if I don't rinse it out, it takes far too long. However, the product does have a longer shelf life.
My dog gets stinky and oily after a bath in a couple of days. However, this is not the case with SOOS.
My dog's fur is very soft and silly, and it smells fantastic. I just wish it came in a larger bottle because one bath used up almost the entire bottle.
This was purchased in conjunction with shampoo for my golden retriever's back, which has oil and dandruff. The conditioner is even better than the shampoo in my opinion. He becomes incredibly soft as a result of this. It's a small bottle, but because it's a concentrate (meaning you have to dilute it with water before applying it to the dog), it lasts a while.
