Now, that may seem odd, but I get those kinds of comments all the time. My two girls (Daisy and Roxanne) are AKC Therapy Dogs, so keeping them clean is essential. Before each visit, I give them a bath with Buddy Wash, brush them, and spritz them with Spritzer. They see people in need twice a week on average. So, at my house, there is a LOT of brushing, bathing, and spritzing going on! "Buddy Wash, which you can find on Amazon," I proudly say when people ask what I use on my girls. Those who tried it, like myself, were glad they did. The lavender and mint scent is one of my daughters' favorites.

That, in my opinion, is an overstatement. Yes, it smells better than dog odor, but it has a medicinal scent that isn't particularly similar to lavender or mint. It has a cleaning product odor, and the sprayer, at least the one I received, appears to be of low quality. In addition to the mist being sprayed, the contents of the bottle tend to drip down the side of the bottle and onto the floor when I spray it. Working with it is a bit of a nightmare. The "conditioning" properties, in my opinion, are also a little exaggerated. After we've applied the conditioner, combing through our dog's hair isn't any easier. It's not a detangler in the traditional sense. 2 hours after you've used it, update: I sprayed my dog twice with the spray. The odor has become even worse now that it has settled. What the hell had she gotten herself into, my kids wondered. We'll have to bathe her. It's possible this is unrelated, but the dog puked about 30 minutes after I applied the spray. It didn't get in her eyes, nose, or mouth, or anywhere else for that matter. Is it possible she licked it? Maybe she despises the odor as much as you do? Not sure. My dog has never puked before, which may or may not be related. The item will be returned to me.

I like the scent, and I like how soft and clean my dog looks after using it. I also like how long it lasts! However, I made the mistake of using the green tea bergamot one around my mother (she gets headaches and asthma from candles, perfumes, and other scented products), and she almost had an asthma attack! It wasn't an allergic reaction; she simply couldn't stand the smell. In short, it's a great product, but if the scent bothers you or your loved ones, look for something else or make sure you can spray it outside and let your dog "breathe" for a while.

When my dogs get wet from my pool or the rain, I squirt Buddy Splash on them, rub it in, and towel dry them. NO SMELL OF A WET DOG! br>Lavender and mint have a light, fresh scent that isn't overpowering or overpowering. I keep a bottle of water near my front and back doors when it's raining. The only thing that annoys me about using this on my 100-pound GSD is that after a few sprays, the air can't seem to get back into the bottle, causing it to become pressurized and unable to spray, so I have to unscrew the cap, let the air in, then screw it back on and continue. It also has a small amount of leakage. But I keep using it because it makes my dog's coat silky smooth and smells wonderful. In my travel bag, I keep a travel size with a comb for spritzing right before we leave. Everyone always compliments my dogs on how soft they are and how nice they smell! This is my favorite product, and I always use it in conjunction with their shampoo for the best results.
