The question was directed to me because I purchased this in 2012 for $13, so I'm not sure why the price has risen so much when the quantity is the same. To confirm, I believe I would contact Amazon via online chat or phone. You should also take a look at the Whiskas pouches. I believe both have been reformulated to remove the high corn content (though I'm not sure). ) Because my cats prefer the gravy from these and not the gravy-only packages, I now order a mix of Natural Balance Platefuls (which has a better ingredient list) and Whiskas brands. My cat raves about this food and tells me about it all the time. I don't notice much of a difference in the gravy, but her regular food was discontinued, and she now prefers this one, which is also a great price, so I'm happy when my cats are happy.
