I like that they're pouches rather than cans because I didn't want my cat to get used to the sound of a can opening and start bugging me when I open a can of black beans or diced tomatoes for dinner. This comes in three flavors, which I rotate between to keep her happy and satisfy her need for variety. I can get them automatically for a price that is comparable to Target and less than my local grocery store thanks to the subscribe and save feature.

This was bought for my elderly cat, who was in desperate need of food. I only use this for the gravy, not the solid food, and I use paper bowls with a strainer on top, allowing all of the gravy to drip into the bowl, which she devours. I just wish she'd eat the food part, but she's been refusing to eat the canned food since I brought her home. (I found her at work and fed her almost 8 cans of food per day; three months later, she stopped eating canned cat food. ) I've tried other brands of food for straining, but she just walks away. I believe this would be a good choice for a cat who enjoys gravy, as each pouch appears to have a little extra.

My cats all enjoy the fish and chicken flavors, especially the gravy part. Feeding several cats wet food twice a day can get expensive, but the Friskies packets are a good deal. There are four servings in each packet.

Both cats seem to like it, but they don't seem to care for the small square pieces in any type of wet food. They leave a lot of food in their bowls until I realize they aren't going to eat any more and pick them up. Both cats are adults, one a smaller tortoiseshell kitty and the other a large girl Maine Coon kitty with a healthy appetite. I believe it is simply a matter of the small square pieces.

Although it was a little pricey, my 12-year-old daughter enjoyed it. Blue Lynx Pointe, an elderly male, is addicted to them. But, of course, I make certain that he gets his healthy food (which is prescription-only). Cats, especially those who are older, require more than what is provided in a product like Friskies Gravy Sensations. He, on the other hand, is a huge fan of them. They're simple to prepare and far less expensive than his other meals.
