My 14-year-old cat is in the early stages of kidney (renal) failure, which I discovered recently. Rapid weight loss and muscle wasting (in which muscle mass decreases) are two of the symptoms/results of renal failure, among others. To counteract the weight loss, I realized I needed to immediately add some high-quality protein and more liquid to her diet. These pouches caught my eye as I wandered through the pet store. They seemed to be exactly what I needed, so I brought them home to put them to the ultimate test - Would they be eaten by my cat? br>br>Sure enough, she pounced on the package and devoured the entire contents in the time it took me to walk to the trash can and throw it away. I'm serious. It was almost as if she inhaled it. I gave her all six of the classic broth flavors a try, and she raved about them. And when I looked on Amazon, I discovered that it was nearly half the price of the pet store. I'm in ecstasy right now. I'm hoping that this will prevent my baby from losing any more weight.

I'm not sure what's in it, but it's like the best thing my cat has ever eaten if you REALLY love your cat (because it's quite expensive). My Persian cat, a 16-year-old female Persian, digests this broth well, does not spit it up, the fish broth appears to be easily digested, and her coat is glossy as a result of the fish varieties. The problem is that she can eat a lot of these packets in a day, so I now mix in some wet canned cat food with the cat broths. br>I jokingly refer to this product as "crack for cats," but that simply means that the cat adores it and will no longer eat other brands. No one asked me to write this, and I don't write reviews very often.

This is because you can't trust the source or the conditions in which it's being shipped. br>br>After taking my cats to the vet for some very scary diarrhea, these were the words from my vet! After removing ALL PURINA (horrible company using horrible ingredients) and purchasing all of their food (dry only for adult cats), we were finally able to get them back on track. I just found out about it) in a nearby store! br>br>For your animals, please only use reputable brands. I'm so sorry I gave in to my cats' meows during my thorough research and made sure they were eating high-quality/ingredients food! HOWEVER, they are now SO SO HAPPY and HEALTHY, thanks to a new food (which is actually cheaper and of higher quality than this garbage)!.
