I blend the cat food with some bone broth in an old blender (which I purchased at a thrift store). The homemade cat broth is a favorite of my 16-year-old cat. You can play around with the amount of liquid you put in the canned cat food.

I'm 67 years old and have had a number of cats throughout my life. The majority of the survivors lived to be around 17 years old. They've been fed by meow- From blue buffalo to mix, and everything in between, there's a lot to choose from. Hunter, like most cats, is picky, so I keep a variety of foods on hand, and I wanted to give him a special 'liquid' treat along with his meals. br>I read all of the reviews, as I do with everything I buy on Amazon. I read all of the articles about this product, including a few about 'kitty crack. ' I ignored them because the advantages outweighed the disadvantages. Hunter was fed the variety pack for about two weeks, mixed in with his food and at times alone on a plate next to his wet and dry foods. My cat Hunter just gobbled it up. Then she'd yell for more. It was the most intense meow I'd ever heard. I forgot to order more when I ran out of it. Hunter is going insane because he hasn't eaten in four days. He refuses to eat any of his other nutritious foods, whether wet or dry. Nothing makes him want to eat, and he doesn't drink nearly enough water because he isn't eating. I also attempted to wean him away from it. He'd walk away for days at a time. I'd check his dishes in the morning, hoping that he'd graze during the night. no way. There had been no contact with any of the dry or wet foods. I'm well aware of his desires. I'm gonna lose him for sure. Guys, if you think this is a load of nonsense, stop feeding it to your cats and watch what happens. Hunter can either starve, become ill, and die, or I can help him feed his addiction by feeding him this overpriced kitty heroine. I am not pleased. SUCKS. I'm furious.
They are, first and foremost, adored by cats. Second, I've noticed that prices have risen significantly, and they've begun to include a "Confusion Factor" in their product information. br>br>For example, they now offer 12, 16, and 24 pack sizes - Check the prices, because in one case I've seen, purchasing more (larger packages) costs more! br>br>In addition, most packages are described as "$/pack," which is fine, but now I'm seeing "$/oz" mixed in. I'm not sure if this is legal, but it's easy to assume that the now significantly lower price is per oz rather than per packet when reading quickly. A pack, by the way, is a standard unit of measurement. 4 oz, so the figure you see (which can be misleading to a buyer) appears to be much lower than the $/pack figure.
Without a doubt, both the classic and creamy versions of these broths are favorites of my cats. BUT, at around a buck per pouch, these are almost prohibitively expensive; additionally, since my kitties have enjoyed these treats, they do not seem to enjoy their regular canned food as much, even the gravy lover's that they used to devour. I'm at a loss for what to do. I understand that the Temptations snackies and small cans aren't exactly healthy, but as a pet parent, I feel like I've put myself in a bind by providing these pouches. The cats, I believe, are more picky than they have ever been. My husband insists that if the cats get hungry enough, they will eat whatever you give them, but in my experience, if you give them a can of food they don't like, it will dry out on the plate and become concrete before they even try to eat it. My cats are both "elderly," with one being overweight. I became accustomed to these high-priced pouches while trying to supplement an elderly rescue cat with no teeth who I was trying to accommodate and provide calories to, and now I'm at a loss for what to do. I tried mixing half a pouch with half a can of cat food that they used to like, but it didn't work.
For my 6-year-old male cat, I've tried every canned cat food on the market. After giving up and allowing him to eat dried food because I was concerned he wasn't getting enough moisture from it, I came across this pouch of creamy chicken and decided to give it one last try. I can't believe it when he stands beside his empty bowl, begging for his creamy chicken broth. I open the pouch and pour it into a small mason jar, then add a LITTLE organic bone broth chicken unsalted (8fl. oz. ) oz. ) (which I purchased at a health food store) to the pouch and swirl it around before pouring it into the mason jar, which will last the entire day. I also need to use sissors to cut up the chicken pieces. I tried just giving him organic chicken broth, but he turned it down. He's a big fan of Fancy Feast Broth. I'm sick of squandering money on cat food from cans. n I'm definitely going to try some of the other flavors!.
Cats have their own employees. If my cat would just drink water and stay hydrated, my life would be a lot easier. To keep my cat from becoming constipated, I mix these with a pinch of miralax. Here's what I'm up to on this planet: I'm examining my cat's poop to see if it's sticky enough.
She licked the broth first, then devoured the meat, which came in three different flavors in my box. I discovered that she was completely obsessed with all of the broths. In the case of the anchovies, here's what I found out: She did leave the anchovy fishes behind, so it's possible she didn't care for them. But that didn't stop her from devouring the rest of the meal. It was hilarious to see her return to the bowl after she had finished licking it! She now meows and carries on for her "snack" on a daily basis. This is something I would strongly recommend to anyone who owns a cat!.
My cat has determined that these small packets of broth and fish are the most delectable foods available. She used to ask for one every day or two, but now she sits in front of the pantry and meows until I bring one out for her. And her lovely fluffy coat appears to have become even more lovely since she began eating these on a daily basis. They've become an excellent addition to her dry food.
