I'm not sure, but it seems to please my kittens. They run when I tell them it's "den-time" when I put them to bed at night (in my big bathroom so they don't destroy the house). time in the den" I gave one side to each of my two 6-month-old kittens and mixed it with their dry IAMs cat food. Normally, they consume every last morsel.

As a prime member, I had hoped for more than what I received. When I got home from work, I was eager to feed my sweet, healthy kitten. As my kitten waited beside me, I opened my box, only to find a box full of maggots attached to the kitten food container's outer rim and the inside of the package. I hope whoever was in charge of inspecting this product before it was shipped to the consumer did a better job next time, because I will be returning it!!.
Cat enjoys the food and continues to eat it; however, when he became offish and stopped eating, mold began to appear.
My 6- month- This food is a big hit with Tabby. Since I got him at 8 weeks old, I've only fed him Iams Healthy Kitten products, and he's a healthy, energetic kitten. I was delighted to discover a new flavor, as was Lenny! I mix in some Iams Healthy Kitten dry food after adding some water. However, because of the ingredient list, I deducted one point. The first is chicken broth, which includes some animal by-products. products. However, because I alternate with Pate, I'm not too concerned about the ingredients. As he grows older, I intend to continue feeding him Iams food. Lenny was on board with the idea. Edit: This food has a lower calorie content than the Pate version, and the feeding guidelines call for kittens to be fed more - vs. 6 servings (pate) 6 - There are 9 servings (cuts and gravy) in this recipe. As a result, you get a lot less for the same amount of money. I'm sorry, Lenny, but I don't think this one will win.
We have two three-person teams. The kittens, who are only a month old, are so enamored with this wet food that they come running and meowing as soon as the cabinet door is opened. I like the portions because each of our kittens gets their own portion in one container. If you only need a portion of the package, the perforated edge makes it simple to remove it. When thrown away, the container is simple to open and leaves little waste. The Pate' is rich, so if your kitten isn't used to wet food, start with a small amount at first to avoid stomach issues. One of our kittens bullies the other for the rest of her portion, and she initially got diarrhea from eating too much too fast. Our kittens will benefit from a free product that is both healthy and tasty.
Kitten was suffering from an upper respiratory infection and was refusing to eat anything else. Based on the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. It's something she really enjoys. br>My only criticism is the container's shape. I wish it was a little wider than it is deep so that a kitten could eat straight from the container without any leftovers at the bottom because it is too deep for her to reach. I figured if she didn't like it, I'd donate it to the shelter, but she couldn't wait to try it, even though she was sick.
Even with the "pull tabs," these are difficult to open with my fingers, otherwise they would have received five stars. I had hoped to put the container in there for the kitten to eat from, but it's too narrow for her to get everything out. As a result, it must be served on a plate. but. When I place another food in front of it, she always chooses the IAM one over the other. As a result, I will no longer purchase IAM in these containers. All of the other brands may have to be donated to a cat shelter.
old tabby boy who stopped eating and began to lose weight all of a sudden I went out and bought every type of cat food I could find (except for pate). He'd take a couple of licks and then walk away. In a panic, I purchased IAMS KITTEN PATE in perfect portions. He resumed his normal eating habits. Only the kitten formula appeals to him. I'm glad he's stopped starving himself, and I'll continue to feed him kitten food for as long as he wants. I gave it five stars for flavor, but I'm not going to taste it and will go by Slinky's reaction.
I'm not sure what they put in their food (dry and wet), but it always seems to be the favorite, which I appreciated when I was trying to get a sick kitten to eat different foods. I'm curious as to what their secret ingredient is, because they all agree this is good but disagree on other foods. br>However, what exactly is the situation with the packaging? It seems wasteful, but I suppose someone who has some left over (which isn't a problem) wouldn't want to save it for another meal; instead, they'd want it in its own sealed plastic container. At the very least, they could provide a choice of less wasteful or larger portion containers.
