I have no complaints about the quality because this is my cat's preferred food. However, there appears to be some inconsistency or misunderstanding on the part of the distributors as to how much product you are actually supposed to receive; in fact, the last few times I've ordered, I've only gotten HALF of what was listed. br>br>I've ordered this item a total of ten times and have always received the correct amount: 24 * 2. 6 Oz. trays. It came in a cardboard box with two smaller boxes that had the branding on them, just like the item photo. Despite reordering from the same listing using the "Buy Again" button, I have only received ONE of the sub-items the last few times. Only 12 twin-sized boxes with the branding on them are available. packs. The table below compares the total amount in ounces that you should expect to receive versus what has recently been shipped. My 12-year-old male cat developed a bladder obstruction while eating a completely dry diet, so I switched him to a wet food diet. Prior to that. For years, he'd been consuming Orijen dry. After seeing how much pain he was in, I vowed that I would never let this happen to another of my cats. I learned a lot from his ordeal, such as the fact that feeding any dry food to male cats almost always results in this. After he returned home from the VER, I fed him ZiwiPeak for a few months, but that stuff is nearly $4 a can! And while he enjoyed it (as did I! ), there were a few flaws. While I'm not happy with the ingredients, I'm glad to see heart, liver, and muscle meats without fruits and vegetables, as my wallet did not. Keep in mind that I'm making a sacrifice by feeding Crave, but feeding ZiwiPeak is simply not a viable option for me. I would never have believed it before, but I now believe that feeding cats the lowest-quality wet food on the supermarket shelf (not Crave) is preferable to feeding them the highest-quality dry diet. The importance of acidic pH and moisture in feline diets cannot be overstated. Dry food diets do not provide this. His coat is no longer greasy or full of skin flakes, and he has a lot more energy now. I think I'll be able to satisfy his hunger while keeping his calorie count in check if I feed him wet. This was an instant hit with my cat. These are the ideal serving sizes because my cat only eats about that much at a time. Just be careful when opening each package; it's difficult to open, and the first time I did, I spilled gravy all over the place. Simply slowly open it. I bought these for my 9-year-old longhair cat because I had heard grain-free food was better for older cats in general. We'll see if this food helps her coat, which had become a little dull. She also gets hairballs now and then, and I read that she needed more moisture in her diet, so I'm cutting out the dry foods. I was unable to purchase this from my usual vendor (at a cost of $12. 98 per package), so I went on Amazon to look for some. The picture depicts two boxes, and the price is listed in such a way that it implies two boxes for $27. That is a reasonable purchase. One box was delivered to me. I paid more than twice as much as the original price. SMH, this is the pinnacle of deception.
She used to lick the gravy off soft foods and then beg for more- refused to eat the food that was served to him. Crave has made her stop begging for food from strangers, and she consumes it all. It's a clean dish that I'm referring to. There was nothing left in there! She hasn't lost any weight, and her fur hasn't changed either. She does, however, appear to have a bit more vigor. I'm glad she enjoys this food at the age of thirteen. Throughout the day, we feed her the wet food and a small amount of Crave dry food. I've also never received a filthy container, which is a blessing. They were all fresh and had not yet reached their expiration date. As you can see in the photo, she's rocking the Crave look.
I thought these would be ideal at first because I have two kittens, so the two-pack would be ideal. Serving packs make it simple for them to divide their food. Plus, I had no issues with this brand when I bought it at the grocery store. br>br>ON THE OTHER HAND, ordering this box from Amazon turned out to be a disaster. The first pack in the box was fine, but the second caused my cats to have diarrhea, and the third caused one of them to vomit! I got a refund and had to throw the rest of the box out because I didn't want to risk getting sick again. I'm not sure if it was because of how Amazon stores it or what, but I'm not doing it again.
