I found exactly what I was looking for in this mat. One of my cats likes to play with her food and food bowls, and I have four cats. * She likes to take food out of the bowl and chew it up over the floor, dropping bits of it in the process. Compared to other products, this one is easy to clean and looks like it will work well. Still, the bowl does not move across the edge, but the lip on the edge prevents it from doing so. We haven't had any water or bowl leaks since using her water and bowls. The music is great. It fits in the dishwasher, too. Only one issue I have with the fence is its size. Given that we have a fountain, I would like it to be about 2" wider and 4" This item is only available in the size listed above. I manage to fit it into the small size, as it works so well.
