These bowls were nice, but I was led to believe that they were dishwasher safe because of an answer to one of my questions. This is not the case. Cracks appeared and the skin began flaking off. As soon as I stopped eating dry food in favor of daily wet meals, it didn't take long for me to lose weight. Unless otherwise stated, the hands should be washed only by hand.
The sound of a ceramic or glass dish being placed on the tile can trigger seizures in my old cat who has seizures. If I place these on the tile, the sound can trigger them. Eating was a complete waste of time for her. The bowl Zia ate from two days ago amazed me, and she finished it in record time - I was amazed at her speed. Almost as clean as if it were brand new!
